Starting XI
Twellman has been the most consistent. Derosario started the season on the bench. It wasnt untill they moved him to attacking mid later on when he exploded.

He had a solid season, and is arguably the Metrostars MVP. And evertime i've watched him, hes been the most intelligent player on the field by a mile. And he had 5 game-winning goals. I dont what your point is, but he had a great season for a 37 year old.

*Honda MLS Most Valuable Player Finalists*
Dwayne De Rosario - San Jose Earthquakes
Jaime Moreno - D.C. United
Taylor Twellman - New England Revolution

Youri had a great season, but I wouldn't put him in top 5 when it comes to MVP candidates. My personal top 5 would be:

1. DeRosario
2. Twellman
3. Gomez
4. Donovan
5. Joseph

I think Gomez should have been in the final 3 instead of Jaime. Moreno's stats are padded by his penalty kick goals. Plus, Gomez does more work defensively and has a much higher workrate compared to Jaime. And he was bangin' the drums with the Barra Brava.
