Btw, who else has got KOLTARII?

Young defender, 18 year old at the begining of ML. Grows quickly to 90 Defense, 95 Balance, 86 Stamina, 80 Speed, 85 Acc, 80 Response. At less than 500/yr, he's one solid and, more importantly, fast defender. Tall too, good for covering corners.

Well. Did you win? I'm going to start a new ML tonight. I downloaded an updated option file for my PS2 last night so I'm all set now.

yes just won a massive 4-0 nil victory,the game was over after 20 mins with 3 goals,first reyes scored from ben arfa's corner glancing it into the net at the near post.

then a great run and shot by reyes was tapped home by henry before henry hit his second,almost a carbon copy of reyes goal,a glancing header at the near post into the far corner

i totally controlled the game,they hardly got the ball out of their half,ronaldo was always a threat but was later subbed for morientes,at half time they went 3-4-3 with raul up front but with no luck

then on the 76th minute i scored one of my best goals ever,reyes picked the ball up on the left wing ,came inside past carlos and literally right on the edge of the box he hit an unstoppable shot which flew into the far top corner,an amazing goal even though his shooting accuracy is only 81,im goin to go 6* now for next season for more of a challenge.woohooo

That's the best version. No slowdown and easy to update. I got the PS2 version only because I could play it from the comfort of my bed. After sitting on a computer chair at work for 9 hours, I don't want to do the same at home.

Playing 6* in semi of wefa championships and Arsenal got sent away 5-0 (muaha Jimbo)...i went on to the final and beat Real Madrid (muaha Nuno)

lol , i did a whole season with liverpool in ML and won the D2 League and D2 Cup, in the off season with the transfer market, i went a lil ova the top , brought Scholes for 19000 and had the money for him, then brought torres for 16000 thought i had enough for him as well. then it paid all the annual salary , and i was then - 6 000 meaning game over . I had Auto save on , so now i cant load it bak to fix all the crap i messed up. Starting a new ML now with Chelsea.

Vincent Kompany is the real name, from Anderlecht and is Belgian..

But I agree he is an amazing young defender, although he goes up slow for me, he still seems to be amazing even without good stats..

The best young player I have seen is either Dagaka (Kaebi) who is 18 I think, from Iran and has amazing stats, only his response lets him down, something like 54..

Or Lewis who is 16 and a goalkeeper, by the time he is 20 his 4 gk stats went up to 90+, this is ofcourse:

Plus he is like 192 in height, but more importantly, he is superb, rarely concedes a goal even on 6 stars.

yeah i bought kompany just now,i finished the league and finished ****in second,cant believe it,i led from day 1 and in my last two games i lost,first 4-2 to dortmund at home and then with me and feyenoord on 60 pts each i lost to ajax 1-0,what made it worse was feyenoord drew so i lost the d1 league by a point

anyway in pre season now going 6 *,i bought kompany and c.ronaldo

Koltarii is definitely on my to-buy list. I tried to get him mid-season, but couldn't--not with all the other players I had to get. I think I picked up Perea and another guy I can't remember (starts with an "A").

For good, cheap midfielders go with Japanese and Korean players. There are a few like Nakamura, Song, Oh Gi Sul, and a few others I can't remember that are at clubs instead of free market, so you can trade some of your crappy default ML players for them and not pay transfer fees because they only get paid 200 points! They are typically fast with good stamina--much better than what you start out with. If you're short on cash and can't afford to pay transfer fees, these guys are perfect. They'll make good cheap backups when you pick up even better players later.

A few good CF for cheaper than sucky Barota and Castollo, and young to boot:

- John (18)
- Kone (20)
- Villa (22, and the best of the 3)

Good goalies you'll have to pay for though. No free lunch there.

Heitinga is a must have for me, he can play something like CBT, SB, DMF, CMF and SMF..and always plays incredible, only 20 aswell.

There is a player called Heunongas or something, amazing stats and quite young.

Martin Cranie is also very good, along with a player called Vomme, he had 90+ defence when he was only 19, and the rest of his stats were mind blowing.

Also look for a player called Drost, or Van Damme I think.
