Mido-Online.com – (Cairo) – Egyptian striker Ahmed ‘Mido’ Hossam informed Mido-Online.com late Thursday that he will be on loan with Spanish side Celta Vigo for the remainder of the season.

Mido plans on staying at the club until the summer transfer window opens, during which he plans on signing a long-term deal in either England, Italy, or Spain.

Yes, the chairman confirmed the loan of him with an option to buy.
Knowing south European sides I am curious if he really get a chance to play.
Or will he end on the bench, like happens a lot to young players in these countries?

I dont want him to go to Celta but there is no reason why he couldnt do well there also. Its better then sitting on the bench for 3 months. :rolleyes:




Why would he turn out like another Anelka? Im sure you havent ever seen him play.

Well Mido ran his mouth. Made the Koeman and the staff look like idiots............but this has been going on for a while......since last season it was only a matter of time before it becamse something big.

It's Mido's own stupid fault. He's only 20 years old and already thinks he's worlds greatest striker. Maybe it is a good purpose for a striker. but anyways...

I am an Ajax fan but I think it's good he moves to Celta for 3 months. After that 3 months he probably will get many offers from abroad clubs but I think he should stay with Ajax for erm 2 seasons and then go abroad.
