This was in Egypts leading paper Al Ahram:

"Beenhakker said about Mido: "Everyone has to respect the teamrules. you cant simply allow that one person doesn't care at all. We talked to Mido much more than once. But he still won't fit in with the rules. Once in a carreer every trainer will meet an uncoachable player. Mido is absolutely unprofessional. We'll find a solution that's best for Ajax and for Mido. And this solution lies outside Ajax".

As for Mido, he has confirmed to Ajax that he is currently in Cairo, spending a short while there. The player himself confirmed to Al-Ahram that the current season will be the last season for him with Ajax and Barcelona is on the verge of signing him at end of season. As always, EP will keep you updated on the case in Amsterdam..."


Well its a damn big shame he is leaving Ajax but at least he isnt jumping down to a lower club. The paper said the deadline for transfers in Holland is March 14 so im guessing Ajax will have a new striker within the next week unless someone ethier Mido or Koeman does something to ease the tension.


Mido is the 3 big player to decide on leaving at the end of the season. Didulica our former #1 keeper turned down a contract offer from Ajax earlier this season and plans to go to spain or Italy.

Chivu our captain is planning on leaving Ajax also. It is reported he might go to Real Madrid unless Ajax win the CL or at least do very very well.

Another former Ajax star is at Barcelona Marc Overmars.

Nope Evan VD Vaart signed a new contract until 2006 and he has to stay at the club until at least 2004. Zlatan has yet to sign a new contract at Ajax but said he wants to stay.

I have to say the reports on the Mido incident are very confusing.
I just read a recent report which states that Koeman said he may have a future at Ajax but only if he shows he wants to play there.

I also read a report dated two days before Mido said he was likely to go to Barca that because of the trouble between him and Koeman that Lazio and Juventus had shown interest in Mido. Arsenal also attended an Egyptian NT game against Denmark about 2 weeks ago in which Arsenal clearly stated they were there to check out "certain" talent.

So its up in the air at the moment. Im sure now Mido doesnt want to play at Ajax anymore so maybe Vazza was right about this all being meant to be by Mido. Thats a damn shame.

Reizeger pulled out of the deal.

He is still at Barca(at least until the summer).

Ronaldo de Boer left for Rangers - Frank de Boer, his twin brother, is still there.

Bogarde has left ages ago for Chelsea, but he is currently injured (and has been for ages) and so doesn't play.

It's a shame that Mido is going to leave Ajax. He was first choice striker at the start of this season and had a good season last, helping Ajax to win the domestic double. Well, if he doesn't want to play for the team, I suppose he can leg it.

You seem to be well informed where it has to do with Mido.
That's why I wonder why you don't tell us the most terrible incident from Mido, but I think you as big Mido-fan are so blind for his failures that you will not tell us.
This happened:
Mido got another argument, this time with Ibrahimovic, who was his best friend until that moment. In that argument Mido lost his temper again and smashed a scissor to Ibrahimovic' face.
Zlatan just managed to dodge it else he would have been blind. Worse enough of course, but that should have been end of career of Ibrahimovic. So that's what he does with his best friend!
I think all sensible people overhere understand that the big international clubs are not waiting for such an insane troublemaker. Probably those clubs do not know about this incident, as it is known since yesterday.
So forget about the future of your idol; he at best can get a mediocre team, until he makes trouble again.

Anyway Mido just said today that though he has gotten a clear offer from Barca he is going to wait till the end of the season to really decide. He said he would like to move to another club to play football but love Amsterdam and has enjoyed his time there with Koeman,and the squad.





Hans Mido isnt my biggest idol there its just that there is something on the internet these days called Soccer news sites
