Ms has PES for a year , well seeing as the real 1st next gen game will not be out until 2007 I don't see a problem with that !! I am a PC player but I am buying my son a 360 for his birthday in Nov..
The 1st real next gen PES game will not be out until 2007, PES6 though on the 360 is not the next gen of PES. What I read about nextgen AI and all the rest, it is not in PES6, but this PES2007. That is where the nextgen gameplay will that place, so MS having PES to its self for a year is no real big thing !!

Good for Konami, MS, and Sony.
MS paid a lot for a polished version of PES. After what I've seen, the next-gen transformation magnitude could only be expected from PES7. So nobody's missing on anything. It's a win-win deal for all parties.
I hope Konami makes the better use of this year for an overhaul. (It's literally now or never)

Pes6 isnt coming for the ps3 because the launch is in november and pes is released october one month before.
The xbox360 also had to wait almost one year before pes6 came. Konami could release pes5 for the 360 last year, but they didnt. Well its the same situation for the ps3 now.
ANd fifa is coming in januari, there are reports where an EA representative said there was no exclusive deal with MS. I think no company in the world can get EA to go exclusive

It's quite simple really. PES6 will be multi-format but only MS can release next gen pro evo titles during the next year.
It makes sense as by the time PES7 for the PS3 is on the verge of release in a years time the deal will have run out and will be enjoying PES7 on the PS3

Well, my opinion about all of this.
Finally i saw some videos from the 360 version. Well, the game looks enought cool, but not until the point of these images that we saw, Adriano..Chelsea..etc...So, Konami was trying to sell something that finally is at 50% of the expectations (indeed there´s an image that you can see a "nice 2d sprite crowd"....omg....on a next-gen console?? Please.....
Seems that all people from companies are interested about YOU MUST TO HAVE A 360 IN YOUR HOME. Why they dont use this phrase??..it will be more clear, and honest. For this reason, Komani had dissapointed me a lot, not only for that 360 version is, well, a bit better than a current generation or pc game...but it doest not aproch to games like moto gp, nba live...etc, Konami dissapointed me too for this kind of exclusive. I wait all from Microshhit...for this reason there´s not a surprise from their side.
So, then, we have a bit better version of PES on 360 "Winning Eleven Pro Evolution Soccer 6" in one hand..

It Will be another remake of WE10 but with PC graphics, or it will be more near to the 360 version??. Is really anoying to have a high end pc, with x1900xtx or 7900gtx, in sli or crossfire, plenty of ram, with a powerfull processor...all of this that is very superior to the 360....and we must to conform with a WE10 remake for computers??...please...again....this is not really serious. I can hold that Madden 07 will be better in graphics than in pc (only for to sell 360 consoles, due this game runs perfectly on a medium and in a high end pc...programers only puts enfforts on 360 version), i can hold that happends the same with NBA live 07, but....to hold a remake of WE10 for pc, knowing that you can have the same game, graphics, etc in your pc, that is better than a 360, only for a ****ting campaing for that you buy a 360...is too much for me. Really dissapointing. A big "0" for Konami, and another big "0" for EA, that does not cares so much, but is the same thing.
Looking for the positive side, the contract is for 1 year, almost in a beggining, so, we can say that in 2007 we will have a PS3 version of PES7 that, obviously will be much better than 360....why?, simply, now, the 360 version is the first attempt on next-gen, but in 2007 it will be the second attempt on a next-gen like PS3, and im sure that this version will rocks, together with the pc version, to any other versions.
Finally, to say, that this act will dont report so benefits to Microsoft, Konami and EA. If you see along this years, most of best-sellers games belongs always to PS2 and PC versions. Is a big mistake to do this from this companies. So, you only must to wait a few months, and you can will see how the sells for PS2 and PC versions of WEPES6 are much bigger than the 360. And when they realized about the mistake, it will be too late......PS3, PC with DirectX 10 and powerfull graphic cards, etc. This is the same history of the Xbox.....

P.D: Nevermind about all of this that i writte, i will never, repeat, never will buy a 360. Think on it friends, and how they are trying to manipulate the things. That does not means that i have anything againts people that have a 360, they are lucky, almost for the moment, im critic about the companies and how they want to manipulate us.

Charlie, unfortunally, i understand what you mean about pc, they are really expensive (depends which model, etc...) and it hurts when you must to pay 1500 or 2000 € for a high end pc, overall if like in my case as you well say, they comes from my pocket.
But, a pc, is more than a console in terms that is not only for to play, indeed i need my pc to work (design, 3d, etc...). And im sure that there´s more medium to high end pc´s than 360 in the homes. PS2 is totally diferent, is an entertaiment thing that sells it a lot during this last years, and may be is one of the best investments than you can did.
So, im not talking about the 360 console extricly, a console that in a beggining it cost around 500 or 600€, but if you start to buy controlers, adapters, hd, and games that cost around 70€ each game...along 1 year you can had expend the same or more money than in a high end pc, but, anyway....what i mean is that actually they putted all the programing enfforts on the 360 due they want to expand the market outside of USA (seems that there is well selled), but not in Europe, Japan, etc...I can understand that is a marketing thing at the end, but that affects to a pc user, in the sense that they want to force you to buy a 360 if you want that graphics, that gameplay, etc...when they know and we all know that today (in games) with a medium pc you can program the same than with a 360 and with a high end pc you can do it much better, but they reserved it only for a 360. That´s the reason of my critic. Ok, if you are talking about to have games with options at full like Oblivion, Call Of Duty 2, and kinda, then you got all the reason, you need a nasa machine for to put it all on high. But in a soccer game?? In a football game?? in a basketball game??, for my own experience, this kind of games does not demands so much as the games that i mentioned, in terms of polygons, textures, etc...
Asking your question, for that i know, PES6 will be the remake of WE10, i mean, the USA and European version of WE10 for PS2 and PC. Same graphics, maybe a bit better on pc (resolution, fssa, etc...). And Winning Eleven Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 is the name for the 360 version. I think that is that. May be finally all will be with the same name WEPES2007, but i think that this diference is for to put more enffort in the 360 version.
