Mexico vs Costa Rica, Home Depot Center...11 pm Eastern Time this Wednesday on Telemundo, for those interested.

I dont have anything against Costa Rica, but while the US is playing teams like Holland and Poland...we're playing Ecuador and Costa Rica.

Its one of the best call ups in a while...we even called up Marquez and Torrado. I couldnt find Costa Rica's squad...so I'm not gonna predict yet until I see who they bring.

Yeah, Perez, Blanco, and Bravo should have been called up. With Cuau, he'll be back since he asked to be left off for this game so that he could get some rest after the Clausura and Libertadores games he's played. He said after this game, whenever Lavolpe needs him, he'll be there. At least Lavolpe took off "El Chato" Rodriguez. What a waste of space. As for Nery, he can go f*ck himself for all I care. He'll probably end up playing for Uruguay anyway. Just imagine if Uruguay calls him up for the Copa America, we'll get him then.

Besides Rafa and Osorno...he needs to stop calling all the Atlas/ ex-Atlas players...thay all suck.

On the Nery case, I seriously doubt he'll ever play for Uruguay at any level, while JR is in charge. JR is very touchy about having his call ups turned down by players, so... bye bye Nery, and personally, good riddance.

Meanwhile, Mexico should win, but... well, you guys know how lazy you can be in friendlies.

Who does he think he is anyway?

He said he didnt want to play for an U-whatever team, so he turned down the Mexico call up to the olympic qualifying. So we then called him up for the main natl team and he said he was too tired. Mexico then called him up for a FIFA sanctioned date...and he never answered back.

Who does he want to play for...Greece?

Haha, true but I think we'll win although it will probably be close. Nery doesn't deserve to play for anybody with his attitude.

Paul, Lavolpe should probably call more Chivas than Diablos. I can see Salcido being called up sooner or later and its only a matter of time before Beto Medina comes back from injury and is called up as well.

I have no problem with Medina...hes pimp...but Salcido?!

c'mon...he never lifts his head when he dribbles, and when he does look up to see if anyones open, he takes so long that when he looks back down the balls gone.

The Chivas and Toluca players I'd want to see called up:

Manuel Sol
Johnny Garcia

Emilio Hassan Viades
Erick Espinoza
Zinha

They've all been playing a lot better than a bunch of the sorry players getting called up.

He has saved us a number of times when it looks like the player's gotten away. He's a pretty good defender but there are obviously somethings he can improve on. I remember when Chivas played Toluca and Salcido blocked what was a certain Cardozo goal after he lobbed Oswaldo. I said sooner or later so it won't happen very soon but eventually as I see it. I agree with you on Jonny Garcia though. He's done really well. Lavolpe should callup Zihna for the USA game and let him work his magic.

Ahhh, don't remind me. We started out well in that game and didn't do shit after the goal. "Ojitos" Meza was a disaster as the coach. The whole team was a disaster.

Err.. That's absolutely wrong, Erick Lonnis, Wilmer Lopez and Hernan Medford retired from soccer, Lester Morgan died last year and half of those players haven't been called up to the national team in months.
