Dude... Messi should be 3 stars player at most.
He doesn't do skill moves in real life. He shouldn't be able to do them in game which is aiming to be simulation (yeh right...)
Messi relies on agility and close ball control. Enough to beat most players.
Leave skill move dependant players like Ronaldo alone and don't mix Messi in same turf.
That's why FIFA is kids game. Most goal compilations you see rely on skills only. That's not football. That's being a skill whore and kid who thinks he know how to play football.

Most players should be 3-4 stars in the game I think. The players are(even in League 1, or Championship, Liga Adelante, Swiss League etc.) are good enough technically, to do them, but they don't need skill moves. And it would make your game unbalanced.

Messi unlike Ronaldo doesn't need to use skill to beat players that is why amongst other things the best player in the world.
