Whats wrong with this game? My first season i finish 2nd with nantes, I had 2 bad periods (i was 10points ahead midseason) then i start loosing all games, then i start winning again, and then towards the end of the seaasoon i get mixed results (ws, ds, ls). Now im in the 2nd season but im getting awfull results, I win one game 6-0 then i lose 2, in some games i make like 15shots on target and i dont score, the opponents tho, they never seem to need more than 2-3 shots to score when i miss a lot of chances. This is realy starting to hit on me nerves, i tried differetn tactis etc, but still the same thing happens again and again. Sometimes i feel it's like the game just wants to see me getting fired.. :rolleyes: Im11th now, tho only 9pts behind from top (only about 11-12 games into the league)

I know what you mean, i have used alot of different tactics they work for 10-15 games and then i start losing again usually after i lose 3 matches from 5 ill change my tactics :p

I was Man United, League Cup 1st leg against Villa, just wanted to try some tactic i just downloaded, i won 7-1 :o i thought that i found a great tactic, second leg i lost 4-1 with same tactics(only player i changed was the goalie).Thats gay.And then offcourse the shooting bug, i wont even start ranting about that :(

Yep, been having the same "problem" in my second season with Juventus. :(

so far not much problems for me. i was man utd. curretly at second season. after 13 games, i still unbeaten :D

but i lose to man city 1-0 at league cup game by sending a crap team to play (H)

i have this problems once at my first season while i draw 5 games in role. then continue by 2 defeat in a month (end my unbeaten record :(). then i decide to make some modify on my tactics and line-up. i continue my winning role again :D:D

Do you guys use midfield anchormen? Cuz I'm basically using the Arsenal tactic and I use two dms and play very wide. I'm now 55 games unbeaten and won the treble in my first season.(H)

yeah its a flaw in the game alex, basically its programmed so that it makes it harder for people to keep on winning :rolleyes: Though i do believe (hush hush) that SI are doing something with it in the new patch, not that ive seen any difference with it so far.

mind you i havent had time to play with it much yet sooo.... :p

i think its better that they make it difficult. it gets ridiculous when u know after the 2nd season or so, and u are managing a big club, that you will win the league every season till u get bored.

i hope the AI buys players intelligently this time!

well, anyway, im playing better now, in the 2nd half of the season, but shooting bug is there, and 9 out of 10 times it works in favour of the AI teams. Oh, and the miedia/manager stats thingy, the way it works, it seem a bit.. awfull. The way the stats change is prety unrealistic.

NOT, exactly. You see the way the game works with the shooting problem, is not realistic. It is like ur saying "finaly, it's fair now between the AI and human managers". But it's not as u are not playing with the same rules. With the shooting bug the AI get a huge advantage over human controled teams, as the ratio of scored goals/shots on goal is way higher than what we get. Is this making it hard? yes, IS this making it realistic? No, as it seems to me like (if this is on puprose made to work like that from SI) they are trying to give an advantege to AI teams. It's like the AI plays with a different game engine, much easier, than what we do. I dont want the game to be easy but at least it should be on level terms between us and the AI. Using "dirty" tricks to make it look hard isnt something i like. (take some arcade racing games for example, where the game is using this "catch up" thingy where the AI cars go faster when they are behind you, it's the same thing here, only applied in different type of game, in a different way)

what gets on my nerves is the booking-bug. my team always gets atleast 2-3 yellow card every game, even if the tackling is "easy". once i even got 7 yellow cards for 7 of my players in a match.. usually in a match the referee gives 5-6 yellow cards to players of both teams.. thats simply ridiculous..

players also get sent off for diving in most games. this really annoys me when your striker misses a big game because of suspension.
