I have MCFM version 6.2 and whenever I press 'load FM2006' it freezes. Is there any fix for this?

Have you upgraded your FM to 6.03? It wont work with the new version of FM.

I'm using 0.1.2.0 with FM version 6.02. I was told this would work on another thread, was I misinformed?

No, that's correct. It only works with the retail version of FM 06, upgraded to v6.0.2.
Try FMM 2.0 beta 2.1, it does more than MCFM, but it's a bit more instable. Save your game before using it.

yeh backup your game actually, thats right, id even go that far 
FMM2.0 is amazingly good, but seeing as it was made in China and the guy who made it doesnt speak English, support for the editor is hardly good. Unfortunately the editor currently doesnt work with 6.0.3 (unless a new beta has been released in the last few days), meaning i guess a few people wont be upgrading to that patch just yet. Very good program.

Kind of hard to navigate though, makes finding players a chore.

Just enter their full name (first then last) and search. Shouldn't bring up too many results.
whats hard about it? Simply have FM open (preferably windowed to be honest), select unique id's in the preferences numbers, and then select type in the unique ID. Maybe not as fast as MCFM but potentially miles better.

God, I'm thick... lol. That's what you get for playing the purist sort of FM, you miss out features on editors you don't normally use

UID? I just type in the name and it works....or is that me being thick and they're the same thing.

yeh you can type in the name, but often my spelling lacks "brilliance", so i tend to enable the UID's in the preferences, then you'll see a number underneath people's names at the top of the screen, i simply type that in.

What is the value that determines free kick skill? Using FMM I can't find it in the playing section.
