Master League

After getting good playing Exhibition matches, I decided to try the ML league. But after like 2 matches i get GAME OVER!! I have no idea what the hell is going on? Anyone got any tips for ML?

Yeah i think I tried to buy some players. But I don't even know hwo that whole system works. I read that its better to sign youth players because they are free? How do i do that?!?

I am not sure, but you need to wait until you get MONEY, lots of it, b4 you actually buy players... for now, train your players and make them good..

eg. i use all my young players and put them in the starting lineup and train them and win games

umm why not read the master league INFO within the master league...? It has a very extensive bit by bit description on what is what in the master league.

Are the young players the ones i start off with? All those made up players? And how do I train them, like play games or actually do the Free Training?

No. In the section were you select the teams to find the player you want to buy, go to the "Growth" team. There you sign the players for Zero. Then there's a training promising players in your ML default screen (i guess), and there ya go.

I see Numbers by those players names. Those are just their value, but they will still cost me 0 money?

Yup. or u could try and buy players who are out fo contracts. They are free too. (But some only join when ur team's reputation is high.

Or you could do what I did

If you have enough money, buy some not so big name players..usually a keeper and forward or a mid and forward, and they'll help you win games. Not huge names, but solid players. Then once you win more games with them, you get more money to get more players. It takes a few seasons to get the star caliber players.

Like Anders Svensson of Sweden is a decent midfielder.

Noiice, thanks for the help fellas. I bought a few of the young players and now i get to develop them. Anyone have any tips on what i should train my guys in? I got a CF and an OMF and a CBT.

should i just do a bunch of points in Offense and Defense categories?

for the CF, I'd say attacking, shot accuracy, speed and dribbling...

OMF- attacking, long/short pass accuracy/speed, dribbling, some shooting

CBT: defense, balance, marking, etc.

just use common sense to see what players need

id rather start other players than them... its jus how i play my game...
if they dont play the way i like them to then screw them ...lettem rot on the bench for all i care but if one of my starters is injured or sumthing then they will see the day of light.. thas how coaches play their players in real life too... dont just expect to start on a team because of ur reputation...u gotta earn it!!! haha anyways.. play on player!! peace
