Master League Help

well bought myself a playstation 2 yesterday, with a copy of pes3 obviously to go along just started playing with the master league and before i start playing seriously i would like to know if im doing things right. im 4 games in with 4 wins, only 2 stars but im still learning and it doesn't feel easy to get the wins yet. the thing thats bugging me is the transfers, what sort of players can you hope to buy during the first season? i've bought a really quick korean forward, with another maybe on the way, as they are really cheap, but can i hope to get anyone better? been looking at agahowa, doni, fortune sort of level. any other advice you could give me to make sure i don't cock up and have to start again? cheers

Well I have played 4 ML's so far in Winning Eleven 7, on 4-5 stars... and I have had a whole vairety of different players joining my teams... 5 stars is much harder though... anyhow... my first bit of advice is, take about 6 of your default player and add them to the REALSE LIST.. so you can get some bids from the, and quickly get some extra money.. I often go through the free player list and find good people that I have never seen or used before, but I will also make a few bids for top class players and hope they come.. thats what is so great about this game, it is unpredictable.. and beautiful. Typically in d2 you should try for the 2nd tear players,cause they are more apt to come to your team.. but you never know. Good luck.

I have jus started playin da masterl league aswell. On the first one, players who dnt have a club side. (E.g on pes3 Ariel ortega doesnt) Do u actually have to pay there transfer fees? if u dnt, how do u purchase a player who hasnt got a club side, wat sum do u set there transfer fee at?

well i've got christiano ronaldo (edited) and fernando torres up front, ayayla in defence and a couple of koreans in midfield. spend an hour today just setting the team names right, makes a big difference. when i get my points up to 10,000 i might sort a few transfers. think im going to move up to 3 stars soon as some goals seem to be a bit too easy, even though the cpu is giving me a tough game. screw fifa this rules!!

At the end of the master league season, Zidane, Henry and Vieri will all be free agents

I sugggest signing them and offer big cash!
Eventually other people will make offers for these players and you can just sell them, decline whatever.

Dudek is also free if you are in need of a goalkeeper

well nedved is next on my list but i'll have a look for the frenchies you mentioned. i've found that offering exchanges is the easiest thing to do to get the expensive players. when you buy new players do they take a while to settle in with the team as torres seems to be playing really badly in the two matches he's played, where ronaldo had a bad start and is now playing great.

I bought 8 new players at the end of Season 2. My teamwork was all the way up right away so I am not sure.

I bought Nedved. Alright buy but I would suggest Pires. Thing about Nedved is you can buy him and sell him for alot and make a huge profit.

Just a tip but, don't try and target one player, get whoever is free. Offers will come in and then buy your player you want

This game sure is the don, i swear its taken over my life. Cristiano Ronaldo and Torres are also on my team as of next season.

I was suprised that konami did so much research to know of a young player like torres playing for a " not so big team"

Too bad Reyes is not there. They didnt give Quaresma good stats either

I also have a swedish midfielder called kim Kallstrom on a free, Samuel eto'o is good.

Growth players

Man, you have to get a few growth players. If you get a guy called Piliniak you can play him just for a few minutes every game and by the end of the season he will be the strongest player almost in the entire game. You get enough training points with him to pretty much make every stat he has in the mid-90's and he costs like about 350 PES!

Another good guy to get is Ibsen. They allow you to train him for a long time as well. A lot of the players in the growth player section only get better for a certain number of weeks but the two I've mentioned get better for a long, long time, Piliniak is a must buy because you can make him into the best all round player in theg ame very, very easily.

too bad the actual real players, like ronaldo, rooney etc cant increase in stats through training

i recommend you to buy Nihat,Nakata.cheap but good enough
