Juan Sebastian Veron says he doesn’t know whether he will remain at Inter or return to Chelsea in the summer.

The Argentine is currently on loan at the San Siro and while the Italian side are reportedly keen to keep him, the midfielder is unsure of what will happen.

"I don’t know what Inter’s plans are nor if Chelsea want me back," he told Argentine radio station La Red.

"I’ll simply stay here until my contract expires and then analyse the options which are available for me."

However, the international also opened the door for a possible return to football in his homeland.

"I do want to go back to Argentina in the near future," he continued. "But I don’t know whether that will be in June or next year. It depends on Inter and Chelsea.

"I want to end my career at Estudiantes but before that, I would like to play for one of the big teams in Buenos Aires," added the 30-year-old.

"River Plate or a return to Boca Juniors? River have opened their doors to me, their President has been very clear about that.

"He wants me to play at River now or in the future and I am very thankful to him about that offer."

Meanwhile, reports in Italy on Thursday suggest that there will be a mass exodus of Inter players in the summer.

The Nerazzurri have suffered another disappointing season and the outfit are preparing a clearout.

Francesco Toldo, Marco Materazzi, Belozoglu Emre, Alvaro Recoba, Jose Ze Maria, Edgar Davids, Christian Vieri and even club captain Javier Zanetti are some of the men set to leave.

Still think Veron is good and i would love for him to stay at Inter

edit: ahh didnt see that last sentence. Javier Zanetti leave??? I really don't see that happening, and we just resigned Materazzi to a new contract. :fool: Everyone else is a very likely possibility. I hope we keep Toldo.. good goalkeeper

Veron should stay in Italy he is not well suited for England. I would love to see him stay at Inter he is class there but i would like to see him in a river jersey also

Yeah it looks like it. Unless Mancini put him in the starting 11 more than one game a year, he wants to leave. He's only 25, and he has a lot of talent. I'd be pretty ticked off too if I couldn't play.

we gave di vaio a new contract and sold him like 2 weeks after that :fool:

a contract its a paper with no value, but when that paper with value that we like to call "money" comes knocking theres no contract that will stop him ;)

not just that j zanetti hasn't won anything, i dunno if it's cuz hes on the decline now but hes a class defender but he makes these mazy runs through players then cant pass worth ****, lol....something i've noticed but i dont watch many inter games so he colda made a few bad passes and i just so happen to catch them

Veron can stay in Inter, go back to Argentina or go to La Liga... But Please Dont Go Back To Chelsea!!!

Veron is 30 now, he isnt a fast and strong player, so he doesnt suit in the EPL style. He got great technique and long shot skills, u can see his long shots in the last Inter-Milan game. I think he is playing happily in Inter now...he should stay there.

davids is definitely out...anyone know where he might be going? I heard he wasnt even training with the team anymore

Davids is in Holland, getting treatment for his injury infested self. Pretty much he'll never wear don the Inter colors again. On Veron, I'd like for him to stay. With him in the squad the club actually attacks down the middle instead of always going to the wings. I really like what he can do and I'd like Seba to stick around.

On the major exodus, I sort of think that something similar to that can happen. Not a so called 10 player out, 10 player in thing, but perhaps really close.

Davids is a done deal. Emre is probably on his way out back to Turkey, Gamarra probably won't stay, Miha could retire, Toldo could be sold if his contract isn't actually over, Fontana is definately out, Recoba, Vieri, and Cruz could all leave, and karagounis is probably on his way out so that Luisao can come in.

So yeah, perhaps a 10 man exodus is possible. :O
