How exactly has Woodward done well recently? Except for overpaying & leaving business way too late?

There was a rumour a few days ago that Monaco would loan Falcao for 20 million. 20 million just for a 1 year loan!

If that's what Woodward has gotten us, then he should be shot on the face.

Why do you need Falcao? Buy a fucking CB.

I agree. 1 CB is a must. Blind and Rojo can both play there though and can provide backup but we need a first team leader.

We signed Herrera and Shaw in July, it then took roughly 2-3 weeks for us to sign Rojo. During the 2-3 weeks, some fans were like WoodwardOut GlazersOUT etc. After signing Rojo, the following week we get Di Maria and then a few days later we get Blind.

And now we might've gotten Falcao on loan which if true, there's a few saying we're paying around 5-12million.

If Woodward gets 2 more players (I'm hoping late bid for Vlaar and De Jong/Vidal), then he has done really well to end our transfer activity.

'Glazers Out' is legitimate for a whole bunch of other reasons...
But ok, we did reasonably well in the beginning. But left it way too late to get the other players. Falcao seems unnecessary, especially at that price. Di Maria could have come a lot cheaper (when PSG initially pulled out weeks ago). Rojo doesn't even have a permit, yet. The only reasonable bit of business of the last weeks was Blind, who should have been bought weeks ago (since everyone knew that he wanted to come and that Ajax were willing to sell).
So, yeah. Woodward hasn't proven anything, yet.

Looks like @sahibSG is more accurate than @agent_clash_MUFC.

Lol thanks Nady...I am the new Chief lol....Surprised with Falcao move...5mil(Monaco)+7mil(Wages) and option to buy after loan for 40-45 mil...thats awesome...we can see if he fits in 3-5-2 or 3-2-5 lol... now a CB needed

De Jong possible but Vidal not possible...juve dont have a backup..Freddy Guarin wanted to join juve...this move would make sense if Vidal was sold to United...Unless everything is done and nothing revealed to press and media

Apparently Falcao's agent, said that it's a permanent deal but first season is loan to ignore the FFP Regulation. If true..interesting

somebody should explain me the possible formation with graph ...

With RVP potentially having a knee surgery, I can see this formation used: 4-4-2 Diamond which allows Blind to play his favoured role, Di Maria might not be play wing but with him playing CM, it could give him the freedom to push wide since there is cover behind him in Blind.

Another option if RVP is gonna play is the same formation but Shaw and Blind share the LeftBack role. Mata pushed to the Central Midfield and Herrera play CDM.

Blind is right footed so he can play on the right as well ... I like Falcao signing, it will force fat ass Rooney and RVP to step up, I also heard RVP should undergo a surgery sometime soon which will sideline him for few months ...

Yes bro its true...Guillam Balague(ignore the spelling) broke this news...and I consider him quite reliable...coz he broke Angel Di Maria news

@ ManUnitedXI: We can Also Go for 4-4-1-1 when mata and RVP injured(RVP needs that knee operation)...and this will suit Rooney,Falcao,Di Maria and Januzaj...So LVG really knows what he is doing...I guess we wont have the best impact this year but next year hell yeah fav for league... I guess LVG wants a squad of 23 to 25 best players who are versatile...that explains Daley Blind,Rojo,Di Maria and Herrera(he can even play as no 10,he played as no 10 for Athletic Bilbao last year) Its Mata,RVP,Falcao not Versatile...I expect Mata to play better..Rooney can also play as AM...So Quite a decent Window...

About Ed Woodward he struggled in the beginning..but after Di Maria's deal he is doing better...15 mil for Daley Blind is exceptional and Falcao deal is very good as well..Now only Strootman in Jan(I Guess) thats why he is said No to Vidal...

Blind, Rojo and Shaw are all left backs primarily right?

Rojo CB and LB/LWB (age 24)

Shaw LB/LWB (age 19)

Blind DM/CM,LB/LWB (age 24)

But yeah I get your point...Considering man utd LB/LWB position is sorted for next 7 to 10 years...One CB and one RB needed then Defense sorted for 6-8 years...Phil Jones,Rojo,Smalling(if he improves) and Tyler Blackett(improves for sure) + 1 more CB..

Then Concentrate only on Midfielders...

yeah, my bad ...

Btw, our net spending is £117.4 so far ...

In:
Herrera £29
Shaw £27
Rojo £16
Di María £59.7

Out:
Büttner £4.4
Evra £1.2
Bebe £2.4
Kagawa £6.3

Bebe and Buttner provided more profit than Kagawa!!!!
