yes, but if Beckham said he wanted to leave and went to Real Madrid all you fans would be bad mouthing him and saying hes an asshole and doesnt respect Man Utd.....not like Beckham hasnt made more money for United then any other player probably in their history(although i could be wrong).....i guess they just want to make one big lump sum of money and let him go....its hard when your heart is with this club and your FORCED to leave the way you are.....he won the TREBLE with United....im sure its hard to go to any other club after you have done something like that with the club you dreamed of your whole life......i like Beckham and think hes a good player and person so i feel kinda bad for him.....but nothing i think about twice cause lets face it....hes got the perfect life

Take your head out of your arse, I'll always be a Beckham fan, the board screwed Beckham + His Family(Apart from Victoria, we'll leave that to David).

I'll always be a fan of David Beckham, employed by United or Not.

Maybe some others will support Beckham even though he wont be wearing a United shirt next season, I think your the one who should learn about respect. I'd wish he would stay, but idiots like Martin Edwards, Peter Kenyon, are sellouts, + the PLC board and the so called real united fans are stopping that from happening... :f***:

Thats what being a true supporter is all about.

Most of you miss the point. Do you think all those lads who grew up with Beckham won't be affected by his transfer?
Do you think Sir Alex will get the same respect the next time he does one of his loco acts?

I agree with that there, the other players in the squad (especially his best mate, Gary Neville is more than likely will backlash the club in the future, and then after that he'd probably be out the door, then his brother, and so on...).

Illogical boy, you do so live up to the name.
No one said Beckham is irreplacable, it's not about Man U winning, it's about dignity and respect.

Even if Sir Alex wanted to transfer Beckham, would it have killed him to call his management company or Beckham personally and say 'son, this isn't working out, I want to have you play for another team'.

Sir Alex behaves as if Beckham did HIM something.
We are talking about David Beckham here, a guy who is married and seemingly in love too, a guy with a family.
There are no drunken brawls, no common assaults, no tell all books, no addictions to anything.
This guy is a model professional. This is the guy you want your son to emulate, and this is the guy who Sir Alex thinks he can dislike because of what?

You know the way things have transpired you wonder if the boot-kicking thing was not an accident, because it sure seems like Beckham took it rather personally.
You wonder if Sir Alex didn't do it deliberately.

YOu are right but it's not really that. I heard about an incident where a paper wrote that Beckham is bigger than Sir Alex and then Becks started to think so and now Alex wants to get rid of him. Plus Sir Alex doesn't care what kind of man are you, as long as it is the ebst choice for the club. You said earlier that Alex acts like he made the club, well he basically did make United, because they were nothing before Alex came. So, it's just the money Fergie wants to buy more good players, while the money crisis is still exisiting and it will probably never end. But you know Fergie said that he will rebuild a team and have lots of singings and to do that he has to sell and Beckham is his target, you know Alex if he wants something he will do it. And United just want to take a chance to buy some new great players while they are cheap forexmaple if the teams would not have any money crisis's, Ronaldinho would have been sold by the minimum of 20 million, while PSG want just 14 million because of the low prices on the transfer list.

I've had a thought about what I said to you a few hours ago, I think it'll be a few days till I get over the beckham saga.

I apologise for what I said before, It was un-called for, a bit out of order, and you didnt deserve it. Once again, Sorry.

You talk about dignity and respect, but I never see any dignity and respect from you to Fergie. Such a hypocritycal. You talk about the Beckham and Fergie relationship as if you knew them personally and as if Beckham talked about it with you everyday. Your speculation over their relationship is so "logic", like you were the guy that lives in the Man U dressing room, so you can see and hear every single moment of things goin` on there. God knows what Fergie dislike from the guy, or maybe this is just bussiness as usual, or maybe Fergie thinks it`s time for the man to move on with his career. The point is, what gives you the right to call the man who turned Man U what they are right now an arrogant idiot, you totally don`t have a clue about what`s really goin` on and you acted like you know everything. You said that he acted like God, but look at yourself, you wrote things that is only a speculation as if they were actual facts, yeah right, you`re "logic" as hell indeed . . .

sorry but i have to say u make a bad comparison there at the first place my friend. Becks, as a loyal manu player who helped the club achieved so many things deserved some respect from Fergie. Anti, an Arsenal fan, a so-called Arsene in disuise has every right not to respect the manager of his rival club.

It's bollocks mate. What's Ferguson have to do, call all of his players on a weekly basis to make them feel loved? Why should all the United players come out and start giving their opinion on the stories? How is it arrogant to keep schtum?

I do think United have treated Beckham a bit shabby, but I don't think we're getting the full story here, there's something about it that is just missing and an important something too.

You can criticise Ferguson if you like, but he has always done what is best for Man Utd, if you are the manager it's your job that's on the line, and if something like the sale of one of the best players at the club is happening then it's easy to say that 'the manager puts himself above the club'. Fact is that if you are the manager of a club, you are the club. You make the decisions that guide the club, and it's your job that will go first if it isn't working out. The difference with Alex Ferguson is that he isn't afraid to piss a few people off, be branded the villain by the media (and those that agree with their opinions on the subject), and make the difficult choices, if it will benefit the team no matter who they are.

While I'm wondering what will happen if Beckham does leave, I'm not that worried about it. I've seen Ferguson do it before and the team was better for the loss of some 'star' players. That is not arrogance or anything, that is sound decision making and knowing your team as well as you should as a manager.

This whole thing is a shambles and the media haven't exactly cleared things up since they make a living out of this kinda stuff. It's not fair how Manutd are treating a player who is a fan of the club and has given his all for years.
Funny enough I don't think Ferguson has that much say right now on Beckham's position, I think it's the big bastards sitting up in some nice room, counting their money (ie. the board). You may have realised that once the news broke the united share price shot right up and has pretty much stayed there for a while now with this ongoing saga.
This is evidence that money talks, especially when it comes to football. Sad!
