does anyone like this guy? or does anyone know this guy? i was one of the honored ones to listen to him live in Istanbul. i heard he caught the HIV.i found his Clandestino album and one of my favorite songs was in it from 1998 Bongo Bong. Anyone know this song? Ill post the lyrics of this song.

it's not bad.

his songs are all very similar thoug, it's weird like he hasn't got much inspiration.

He used to be singer in group called Mano Negra b4.

Manu Chao, well he's alright, I've never listened to a full CD but from what I heard they are quite good songs, especially for summer at a beach party with mates. I'm not sure if I'd listen to a full CD in one go, might get a bit annoying.

Yeah, I've heard of him. Someone made a presentation about him last year in French class. His music is alright I guess. Did he really get HIV? That's horrible.

Manu Chao's music is great! A mix of dub, ska, world music, pop, etc. Very cool lyrics and even better attitude!
I'm looking at one of his cd's, right here in front of me.

Yeah and also hes a nice guy like for example he gave a free mini-concert to some African imigrants that were going to be deported back, in Ceuta (a small island on the south of Spain) hes also done free concerts in Brasil for poor people and in some Africa countries too
