This is so lame. After all the titles this team has won in the past few years, you're having a hissy fit because they're losing now? There's a reason soooooo many people dislike Man U. During these last couple of years they've been kicking everyone's ass, everyone is now happy to see them losing for a change. But not only losing, but losing is spectacular fashion! It's nice to see some other clubs at the top of the table other than Man U.

nice description there bertkamp16... and to sudharshan it is o.k if you know you have made an mistake and admit it... i know how it felt to see your team losing so terribly... that's what we have to face during the pass few years and now liverpool are back in winning ways... eventhough pple might say that they are not winning in style but who cares.. as long as you kept on winning and one goal win is also a win...

I don't know why a lot of fans (particularly Liverpool fans) complain that many Man Utd fans 'jumped on the bandwagon' when they started winning. The majority of those fans were kids when Man Utd started winning and therefore have really only ever supported one team. I'd hardly call those people 'glory seekers'.

Speaking for myself, I started supporting Man Utd in the early-mid 80s, I was probably 5 or 6 at the time. I started supporting them because one of my friends did, and my dad did. It was great when they then started winning. I think a lot of people may be surprised at how many Man Utd fans won't jump ship due to a rocky or unsuccessful patch. It just happens to be that Man Utd have so many fans due to them getting their success during football's boom period.

The reason I don't know why many Liverpool fans don't understand this is because when I started to support Man Utd the majority of people I knew of the same age, become Liverpool fans because it was their 'glory' period. I think about 70% of all Liverpool fans started supporting them during this time. So if Man Utd fans are 'glory seekers' or people who jump on the proverbial bandwagon, then so too are Liverpool fans from the 80s and many other fans also.

I am a neurtral fan.

I don't dislike any football team, I just love football I don't care what team I watch from the premiership to the division 3. It amazes me how many people hate Man Utd, but all these people never give good reasons why they hate Man Utd, all they say is that they are SCUM, Simply because they win too much. It just dosen't make sense, the main target for a football club is to win cups and leagues, I don't see why people hate them because of that.

Maybe it is the fact that they have to many fans all over the world and they are the richest club in the world. These days people get blasted for supporting big clubs like Man Utd or Real Madrid. Coming from a neutral it looks quite funny, because all you football fans in here spend more time abusing Man Utd than actually talking about your own team.

Before the Manchester United Era people that supported Liverpool were considered glory hunters, and Liverpool back then was winning more than Manutd, and people loved that team.

Just remenber when Fergie was at Aberdeen Manchester United were NOTHING, they were crap. As a football fan, I respect Fergie for what he has done at the club, he brought it from nothing to one of the most famous clubs in the world.

Its all football no need to dislike any footaball team the way all you Manutd haters do.

i have been supporting manchester united since i was 6 years old. see my username r u man u ? ;)
ManU have tons of glory hunters here downunder. I have a friend who is in love with cricket and aussie rules. when i talk about football he says he supports man u. there are lots of kids in my school like that with other teams too. but the only players they go on about are like veron and that. football is prawn munchery down here mainly because of the t.v premier league and champions league and EA sports. this is why manutd are the most "popular" team on the planet.

i might have worded this wrong if you dont understand what im saying.:rolleyes: :cool:
