PSG MAKE RONALDINHO REVELATION

The impending investigation into Paris Saint Germain's transfers has revealed that Manchester United had agreed a pre-contract agreement with Ronaldinho and his agent.
United narrowly missed out on luring the talented Brazilian to England from PSG - with Barcelona stealing in to sign the player at the last minute.

Sir Alex Ferguson has suggested that the problem with completing the deal lay with Ronaldinho's agent and brother Roberto Assis.

However, current PSG chairman Francis Graille - who was not in place at the time of the controversial move - has insisted that United had already signed an agreement with Ronaldinho that he would consider the English club first.

I am not concerned by [the investigation],” insisted Graille .

”Since I have arrived at the club the management is in the clear.

”We didn't consider the pre-agreement signed by Ronaldinho and his brother and agent Rober Assis with Manchester United.

”If some blunders were made before then we will take responsibility.

”We will make every effort to aid the police with their enquiries.”

It does.

But i guess he was worried more about having walks on nice beaches in warm wethear, then playing for one of the best clubs in the world.

We really ****ed up big time over that transfer , he could have made such a difference to the clubs future. Anyway Barcelona are only 6 points off the lead in La Liga.

He could've made a big difference this season, but lets wish Barcelona well as they keep on catching up with Real Madrid & Valencia after being miles behind them.

Madrid v Barcelona will be great, I cant wait for it to happen, I have a feeling Barcelona will win it and it would be great if they do.

Ronaldinho is like a one man team, when he's not playing Barcelona sometimes looks absolutely toothless, but when he's there he brings so much energy into the game.

Really great player to watch. Before this season, I never knew he was that good. It's a shame he's isn't a red devil at the moment.:(

We may have won the league by now if we had him playing for us , he is probably only second to Henry as the best player in the world.

If he plays that well week in week out, there is no doubt that he will be nominated for FIFA World Player Of The Year with Kaka probably.

Starting XI
Ruud ponder retiring from football

Ruud van Nistelrooy has revealed he will never leave Manchester United for another club and intends to retire from the game while at the top of his form.
The 27-year-old has been mooted as a target for Real Madrid but insists he has no desire to walk out on Old Trafford.

However, such is the pressure and intensity of life at United, the former PSV Eindhoven star does not plan to continue playing well into his thirties.

Van Nistelrooy has set a seven-year limit on his stay at Old Trafford but will then attempt to hang up his boots while still at the top like another United hero, Eric Cantona.

"I have my own philosophy on how I will one day retire and it means I will walk away from football completely," stated the Dutchman.

"Becoming a manager is not an option for me.

"I will do it exactly like Eric Cantona when he was at United.

"It will be bang, wallop and I'll be gone. I want to do it when I am at the peak of my career.

"Playing blistering football one moment , the next gone forever.

"I am not a player who is ready to go to other clubs and play at a lower level.

"I have become used to this fantastic club, so that would be impossible. That is not my style.

"Either I am super-motivated to play at the top or I refuse to play. There is no in-between.

"I am really hungry to be a success at United, but at times it takes everything out of me.

"The big stars at this club have about seven years at the top and that's what I am aiming for."
