edit-thank u DAZ and thanks to the other guy that rated me, I hope ManU will get the title in Europe, of course I know Roma is a good team but cannot create competitions with teams like yours or Chelsea or Barcelona 4 example, so I'd wish a final all english, why not RED DEVILS vs BLUES, REDS or GUNNERS?
In the EPL after the catastrophe of Arsenal think u'll get the 2nd title in a row, only Chelsea can create troubles and I can't wait to watch the game in Stamford bridge, I like EPL and SPL cause I love football, real football, and it's not a casuality that football was born in England, your teams play 95 minutes without losing minutes with stupid fouls and simulations, shame in Italy we play another way, I watch italian serie A only cause Roma plays there but don't like italian football, 4 example I support Germany like national team and not Italy, sometimes I feel like a shame to be italian, not only for football, but I'm italian, what can I do? Maybe in my next life I'll be borned in England or Scotland lol........

I like the ManU formation with 2 strikers, but in England many teams play with only one and 5 midfielders, but 4 example Chelsea plays 4-3-3 with a central striker and 2 attacking wings; so what's the trouble about Carrick? Great great player but u've Owen Hargreaves while we replace Totti with Vucinic.......:-puke:

Just as expected. Except for Park of course.

We are doing well, dominating the possession. Vida gone off with a nasty-looking knee injury . O'Shea is playing in central defence with Rio now. And great team goal for Ronaldo. Thought the ball from Rooney to Scholes was overrun, but trust Paul Scholes to loft a clever ball to a very very good Ronaldo header (who else?).

Roma's best player has been Vucinic for sure. Like I said, he will be a threat.

I'm an honest man, so I made my congratulations to ManU for the victory, the difference between Roma and ManU is that when Roma has chances to score failed, for your team not, 1 ball for C.Ronaldo=1 goal, so for Wayne Rooney, that's the way to win some important matches when u got similar players and when u'r the best team all over the world.

as much as I wanted Roma to play to their best ability, there's no denying they were outclassed ...

as Paul mentioned in the Barcelona thread, Barça (and Spanish) fans can't be blamed for being a bit worried at the prospect of being brushed aside by you guys ... but it's a bit too early to be making predictions ... there were two epic 3-3 ties the last time we faced each other in the Champions League ... for now, I'll hold onto the hope that we'll see an open, attacking contest ...

I think ManUtd is going to win the CL this season, Chelsea and Liverpool are not good enough and the EPL table shows this.
So EPL champions and winning the CL they are simply playing out of this world and in this form it's very hard to beat ManUtd

And yeah Cristiano Ronaldo is for me the best player in the world at the moment he's awesome and a phenomenon but he was one of my fav players ever since he started playing for United

ManU is the 1st team in Europe, but achtung, champions league is a strange trophee sometimes, remember the way u won in 1999 (vs my Bayern gggggrrrrrrr), but I hope ManU will face another english team in the final, what about a great great ManU-Chelsea?
Congrats again, in Sky italian tv I'm watchin' interviews of players of Roma and ManU, Sir Alex is great, I didn't remeber Evra in italian football when he was a very young guy, Rooney has been very nice, I'm fan of Celtic Glasgow too so we've something common, it's called Ireland......

to say roma were outclassed is ridiculous.

i believe that united played a very efficient game but both goals were blatantly against the run of play, especially the 2nd. roma, as they have been all year, were wasteful of their chances.

but what can you say about ronaldo. absolutely no where to be found in the 1st half but shows his undeniable class and form with his goal. it takes a player of great instinct to score the goal he did. when scholes crossed the ball in ronaldo must have been 5-7 yards outside the box. great goal.

the rooney goal was just unlucky and bad goalkeeping. doni's first real action of the day and he makes a meal of it. after that goal, deflated and depressed are the two words i would use to describe roma's moral.

but as spalletti said in his post game interview, united played more of an italian style of football that roma. clogged up the midfield, defended well and took their few chances they had with their pace on the counter.

anyways, great tactical game from sir alex. although we deserved more, if you don't take your chances this is what you receive.

I just hoping in one of these european games Ronaldo really shines like he's done many times in the premiership. Ronaldo played well today, but no where near as good as some of the occasions we have seen him.

He's yet to have one of those dream games in Europe if you know what I mean. I think having one will mean they cant deny him as world player of the year. Villa game a good example.

Great result and great away performance to go with it. Everybody was just immense today because it is difficult to single out individuals who really shine. Let's not take this for granted because we have the home leg to come and anything can happen. Now, we get ready for our cup final with Boro. They will be up for it. Wait, its not our cup final, its their cup final.
