First of all I'm not a kitmaker so my advices can be useless, in that case sorry for that! About logos I don't know any special site but if you type ManU logos in google you can find some big resolution logos. And there is InfranView which is not a PhotoShop but with that you can resize pictures without any loss.
Once again sorry if my post was lame...
