but somehow the 2008 Champions League final wasn't one of those occasions (not even the bench) ...

SAF has been quoted that this was one of his biggest regrets as a manager.

Hargreaves out 5 weeks with the hamstring. The poor lad might as well retire. It's not even comical anymore, it's just sad.

Ferguson says we are in an injury crisis. Big surprise, happens every year.

He won the match, so I dunno what all the regret is for. On penalties, sure, but I don't imagine he was kicking himself for it when Neville or Ferdinand or whoever the captain of the day was lifted the cup.

what all the regret could/would be for ... but yes, agreed ... he would have felt sorry for Park (actually, I remember him mentioning that when he announced the squad), but surely not regret after ...

It was Hargreaves who started over Park on the right wing. And Ferguson even went so far as to apologize to Park and promised him a place in the 2009 Final well before the match.

"one of his biggest regrets" was an over-exaggeration to say the least ...

Both sides were equal imo so fair result. Lost 2 more points but I'm not too pissed off since its a tricky derby game away from home. A loss would've been a disaster.

Our defense and midfield have been very solid today. Finally we have a solid back 4 again. I knew it our defense would organise itself again once Ferdinand would be back.

Still unbeaten but a victory would have been sweet. Proud of the performance. Although not much chances created..you could see city were ****ting in their pants. And that time wasting substitution summed it up. We are still top dogs in manchester.

Oh and fletcher's energy levels is just incredible! Very impressive. and Who the hell is Matt Carlos*son? a commentator who was spouting rubbish throughout the game.

Yeah, I think this was one of the better performances up until now from our boys, such a shame that we could not get more out of the game. Even though City spent hundreds of millions, we were still the superior team on the pitch. I felt that if we upped the tempo we could have made them nervous, but the draw is acceptable.....

We certainly did lack men up front. Berbatov shouldn't be playing alone up front. I think we should've played 4-4-2 in the last 10 minutes to try get a goal.

I feel that, offensively, both teams were too careful and didn't want to take a lot of risks. Both teams didn't want to lose today and that is excatly what happened. 4 points behind Chelsea now, a win here would've been real good for United but what are you gonna do.

We "wasted" 2 subs on our fullbacks. If it werent for that I am sure SAF would have stuck hernandez and berba upfront. Evra and Rafael going off weakened us in the attacking third. Despite all of that, we still dominated.

Disappointing performance. We never looked like scoring.

Man of the Match was Vidic. Nani was garbage.

If we're going to play 1 striker against an organized defense we may as well not even play the game. Chicharito had no chance of getting anything done by himself at the end against that back line, every time he touched the ball he had his back to goal.

Now Evra and Rafeal are probably hurt too.

Yeah screw that Argentine ****.

Rafael's made me proud. He's growing into a beast... Great to see. He's fearless, goes in 100% for everything.
