Sneijder is the latest name, I'd throw a party if that happened. Were more likely to sign Kaka.

Either way it'd be brilliant. All we need is the creative spark in midfield. Sneijder or Kaka would be perfect, although I'd love to see us get Ozil.

I can't really see Sneijder leaving for 25m.
Inter won the treble and are relatively stable financially. On top of that Sneijder's had an excellent season and a fantastic World Cup. There will be more than enough top teams willing to splash out 30-40m for him. The fact that Benitez is now the manager at Inter might well unsettle him, but it probably won't do us any favours given Benitez' relationship with Sir Alex.

Yep, cant see it happening mainly due to the fat Spanish waiter. Its why I joked about us having more luck in signing Kaka. Wouldn't be such a wild thought though if Madrid hadn't paid so much for him.

Damn papers are giving Rooney a hammering. Really starting to annoy me. Like its his fault we did so bad.

Cant wait till he starts hammering home for united again.

*Edit*

This sneijder rumour to building...

Massimo Moratti has told Manchester United to make him an offer he cannot refuse for Wesley Sneijder

sounds to me like there trying to get some of that Ronaldo money.

He said: "The interest from Manchester United in Sneijder is real but I didn't look into it in an attempt not to fall into temptation."

The Italian press have also said we made a £35 million offer. interesting...

Even if we don't get him I hope the offer is true, it means we got £35 million to potential spend somewhere... at least lol

We have money to spend, I'm sure about that. I think a lot of people have been brainwashed by the stories in the media that United are skint.

The Glazers' debt is real and yeah they've loaded it onto the club - but the debt is manageable and it's in the Glazers' interests to keep the club successful - in order to keep it profitable, and they know that means investing in the squad.

Fergie has been on holiday, and with the World Cup on - the transfer market in general hasn't got going yet. And whilst that's been happening - we're still low after the results of last season. Psychologically we need a lift, and I think a lot of us (myself included) see a marquee signing as that lift.

Yeah I agree with you, I also think the money is there, but SAF and co. just want to spend it on the right kind of players....

The media here in Holland are reporting that we will see Maarten Stekelenburg (Ajax' goalkeeper) moving to OT in the season 2011-2012, when Edwin retires...

Apparently we've joined the race to sign Balotelli. I hope he doesn't come here. I think he'd be a tremendous flop with his attitude.
I'd say we need a creative midfielder and a striker.

creative midfielder and a defender are key I think. We can cope with our striker we have a lot of them now. The problems with our lack of creative midfielder and injury prone defence.

Pogba4Now

Team Captain
Hargreaves should retire.

If Hernandez shows the same form as for the Meican NT, do we really need a new striker?

Help?

Can you just imagine this?

VDS
Rafael - Ferdinand - Vidic - Evra
Fletcher - Carrick
Valencia - Sneijder - Nani
Rooney

Atleast EPL for sure!

hes snubbed the move yesterday, saying how he wanted to stay at inter for next year.

Yeah that's true. He wants to win the rest of the competitions such as the World Cup for clubs, the Supercup etc, and who can blaim him for wanting that, I would probably do the same.....who knows after next season, but I just can't see it happening. I think it all depends on Rafa's impact at Inter....

Apparently we're looking at Mesut Ozil, I hope that Fergie is looking at replacement options anyway.

Looks like a new DM wouldn't go amiss either - Hargreaves just keeps having too many setbacks.
