I think Tevez and Ronaldo were the players who could motivate the whole team, we really miss them in that matter. I look forward to Rooney and Anderson to fill this void.

Tevez' role is being overrated

I think we'll be okay, one more game in Asia and then back to Europe - when we'll be somewhere near our best.

Macheda is looking really impressive on the tour, and with Berba's goal - all our strikers are off the mark now.

Also when talking about wingers, remember Adem Laljic will join us in January too.

Good game from us, we won 2-8. Nani was looking sharp. If I'm correct he had two assists and one goal. Owen and Dimi looked great together with the both of them scoring goals. Dimi had one and Owen scored two. Tosic had a decent game himself with a nice goal. Giggs with a hattrick. He made it look easy...

Your red-nosed senile **** of a manager needs to stop talking about us so much if he feels that we're such a small club. Fergie's got Citeh on the mind, baby, FEAR!!! (H)

Berbatov was impressive. 1 goal and 3 assists in this game. I wonder what the Berbatov haters here will have to say now. Our 4 strikers have clicked well so far...

I think the haters are gonna need to see more than him toying around with a Chinese club team to be impressed.

Owen is very impressive as seeing so far. Not only him Berbatov also, others did well too and feel hopeful.
I'd guess near 15 goals and 20~30 matches playing(Sure without injury)in rotation system for Owen.

Btw, which one do you guys prefer for using two strikers?
1) Rooney-Berbatov
2) Rooney-Macheda
3) Rooney-Owen
4) Berbatov-Owen
5) etc

My point is that he contributed to half of the goals scored. He contributed more than any other players in this game.

Wow our new shirts look a lot better with black shorts than they do with white shorts!

The lads are looking good so far, but let's face it, they have yet to play a real team.

looks like they are starting to ramp up nicely now. certainly looks promising that our forwards are clicking quite well in preseason. bodes well for the coming campaign.

I'm not worried about the coming season. People seems to write us of quite early (including some Man Utd supporters). Sure we lost Ronaldo and Tevez, but we have gained the improving Macheda and Welbeck and other good teamplayers. In terms of teamwork I think we have grown more, because we have lost the two biggest ego's. I can't see anyone in our current squad wanting to claim the headlines each day. As a team we will be much stronger and like the old days the goals will come from atleast 18 players.

I think for Owen its got nothing to do with who were playing. Its about how he's been taking his goals. i.e. the control, the predator instinct etc. He could score those vs any team.

The big test will be the audi cup, if we do well there were onto a winner. Starts with boca on wednesday.

Define irony: A Citeh fan posts in the United forum to try and disprove Fergie's statement that they're obsessed with United :clapwap:

Anyway,

United played really well on Sunday, I thought Berba was really relaxed ands enjoying himself, some of his tricks and flicks were Cantona like. Tosic had a good game and took his goal well, Nani again impressed me with his dangerous crosses and again he netted. Michael Owen is on fire at the moment too - If he keeps that kind of form up in the Premiership then we'll be off to a great start. Berba and Michael looked telepathic at times and Giggsy showed he's still got it. Bit concerned about Scholsey though - he's going to get himself in trouble with tackling like that - you'd think after 14 years he'd realise he can't tackle :)

Also nice to see Fabio play - rumours about a dislocated shoulder appear unfounded.

Yes it was only a midtable Chinese league team, but you can only beat what's in front of you. On to Munich, where Vida and Valencia will join the squad, looking forward to seeing what Luis Antonio can do.

Shut up, why Fergie should fear a team that mostly played for survival in last 25 years. City bought Tevez to gain Media attention and create some tension among United fans. But Answer is loud and clear "F-U-C-K off".

by the way, We have great players for this season, we need fitness more than anything and any new player.

by the way, highlights from MUTD in HQ
