We were not very convincing in the Fulham game but defense was terrific despite being without Vidic. We do not look convincing enough for the Madrid games.

De Gea always makes the headlines whenever he makes a mistake (which he does probably 1 in 10-15 games now) but NEVER makes headlines when he saves us from conceding. He was impressive in the last game. He is one of the best (or maybe best) shot stoppers in the EPL and will only improve.

I watched the England v/s Brazil game today. Smalling, Cleverley, Welbeck and Rooney played. Cleverley and Welbeck had sub par performances by their standards and Rooney was just ok but good goal. It might have looked an easy one but there were 3 Brazil defenders waiting to block the ball.

Valencia scored for Equador v/s Portugal. Hopefully this gives him a bit of morale boost because his form has been absolute shite in the last 15 games.

Well, De Gea and more so Welbeck have been getting some stick recently.

Last night De Gea kept us in the game, hes an obvious talent and played excellently. Hopefully he can improve on his flaps and we got a player that will rival VDS & Schmeichel.

And Welbeck, he was a beast, ran his socks off. If he can keep that up and get the goals he will really make it into the starting line up ahead of certain individuals in the next few years.
