To me Wellbeck is overrated as hell. I don't understand why people complain about Nani then say they like Wellbeck. This isn't about Chicharito vs Wellbeck because I agree that Chicharo is best used as a super sub, but Wellbeck shouldn't even be a consideration at forward. Maybe a back up as winger behind Valencia, Nani, Young and Kagawa.

People should remember that Welbeck is hardly a finished product. Yes, his finishing isn't up to quality yet. But, he can create scoring chances with his speed. Also, Kagawa is more useful in center midfield, as oppose to the flanks.

I don't know about Inzaghi but the RVN years were one of the most barren years for United in recent years. We won just 1 EPL title while he was in the team. He was scoring many goals but our team was becoming very predictable. RVN's style is not for modern football. It was good with the traditional 4-4-2 and traditional wingers.

They all play with the same style. They don't work as well in modern football. Also, scoring many goals does not mean more titles.

In contrast to what RvN has achieved, thats huge. I don't see pure finishers being effective in nowadays game though. Strikers now need to be more mobile and flexible.
