Cantona really failed at being the next Henry when he moved to ManU two seasons before Henry debuted for Monaco.

Comes out that you offered 120m Euros for Muller, a world record fee. We declined! So basically, Muller is the most expensive (and therefore best) player in the world.

That makes Martial a bargain at 50 m euros.
The whole concept of that sentence sounds so wrong. Doesn't mean that he's going to perform like Forlan for us and not develop. Although everything's possible.

But an honest question - who would you rather prefer? Bale, Martial or Müller Nady?

Anthony Martial is married and has a daughter named Toto.

van Gaal is insane

I'm watching the United Psv game.

Good news for england fans, Smalling has become the real deal, imperious again. Smalling stones seriously could be new Ferdinand terry (but without ferdinand being so unintelligent he sometimes forgets his own name in the middle of a match)

Bad news, shaw injury looks very serious. So serious it could even have an effect right into euro 2016.

Just an observation I made while watching the match and felt the need of mentioning - our new third kit looks so "not us". Those orange stripes on the sleeves look really neonish. It would look a lot better if they were white, maybe with the stripe on the lowest part of the sleeve being red.

From the regular camera angle I felt like I was watching some twisted version of Holland or even AC Milan (not from the close angle of course).

Oh and what a stupid goal to concede in the end of the first half. I'm not too worried though, this one should be in the bag. I don't see us not scoring in the second half.

Also our game got notably worse after Shaw who's been great this season got stretchered off the pitch with Blind taking his spot on the left flank.

Can't disagree with that really. Having gotten rid of those injury problems have definitely made him more constant and helped his development. And while being a good centre-back, he also seems to have proper leadership qualities plus many more which are important for a quality defender. Like being a good headerer of the ball, being pacy, decent on the ball (well he has been used as a right-back after all) etc.

And yeah that Shaw injury could be a serious blow for us, not to forget your beloved England.

I realize that you're only joking, but once you already brought up something regarding managers, I felt compelled to respond.

Wouldn't really blame van Gaal for the loss and I highly doubt that even Big Sam could've out-tacticed PSV tonight. If anyone should get the blame laid on them, it should be the players who really looked out of their element, except for maybe Schweinsteiger who had a decent match out of the whole bunch, nothing spectacular though. Ander Herrera, Mata and Blind were plain rubbish for example.

Shame about the Shaw injury.

Didn't watch but watched a video of this challenge. What kind of fucking moron was that ref for giving nothing? True Moreno got the ball but he got the player extremely recklessly. This was a potentially career ending challenge. Should have been a red. It was not even given a fucking foul it seems.

At worst an indirect freekick and yellow, just looks unfortunate, you should never ground your leg when a tackle is incoming, not sure why Shaw's leg was planted so firmly

It was an unfortunate situation but that **** used both feet in the challenge. Right foot to win the ball and left foot to bring Shaw down and snap both his tibia and fibula in the process. I don't think Shaw expected that he would challenge him with the other foot and its hard for him to figure this out in that split second. That was a reckless tackle. Simple as that. 2 foot challenge is usually a red.

Nani was studs up and over the ball

I'm still unsure on the Shaw one, at first it looks like it's just the shin of his trailing leg which takes Shaw out
