Well yeah that's what I practically said. Having seen many Holland matches and those matches against Brugge, I'd say he's consistent at least. Haven't seen an utterly bad performance by him. The opposite of Nani!

He has been consistently ineffectual for us in the EPL but the whole system is not working so its not just him.

Yeah I've seen how he links up with Rooney as well. But what I don't understand is why did van Gaal play Memphis behind the striker in the AM role at first. His pace and trickery are much more useful on the wing, also he's good at cutting in and has a decent shooting technique so he's a threat from distance as well. Something we haven't had in a while.

*lukaku actually did turn out to be a good buy, because even though he failed to live up to expectations we still made a profit. But that won't be applicable in this case.
