Decent game, but Saha was awful. What on earth do you want with this guy? He hasnt impressed me at all this season.

He adds pace to our attack. We are scoring from every area of the pitch partly because of Saha. Good win, but the 4-5-1 towards the end made me uneasy a bit, especially after conceding the goal.

All Man City needed was someone who could supply a decent cross. They didn't have one player who could do that. The opportunities were there to score but the ball in was always crap. I was sitting there thinking that Trebelsi was crap, (which he is), and then 2 seconds later he scores a fantastic goal. Man U had 3 or 4 players providing class crosses. That was the difference today because Man City gave as good as they got in all other departments.

Man U's football at times was a joy to watch. Quick and precise passing. Rooney is awesome.

Yeah, sure, he's awful. He's only our leading scorer in all competitions and we're just nine points clear in the premiership. Plus it really sucks to have all of our players scoring. I guess we should really get Ruud back.

oh and if ronaldo had been the one sent off for the dive... this thread would have been filled with 10 pages of cursing and swearing...

that's because he has a reputation

Trabelsi's basically our only winger-type player, since our full backs aren't exactly the pacey type... Vassell on the left tries to utilize his pace a lot more than his work on the flanks, but I think when Beasley's 100% he'll see more playing time, and either Corradi or Samaras will get the bench and we'll have Trabelsi and Beasley on the wings, which is better than what we've had for a while.

and yes, that dive was horrible, but the difference between Corradi and Ronaldo is this is Corradi's first season in England, and he's Italian. Ronaldo's been here like 4 years now? and he still hasn't learned his lesson. maybe SAF needs to give him a good lashing like Pearce said he's gonna do to Corradi (H)

oh, and I've come up with a theory:

Pearce sounds like a man who is running out of time. Anyone else watching Sky Sports News this morning would've heard him trying to endear himself to the City supporters this morning by talking shite about United's own support in a bid to buy himself a few more weeks, haha, what a fucking cunt, a desperate one at that. Cunt.

Scholes was absolutely fantastic in this game. He's the player that makes things tick in the middle. Hopefully he won't get injured this season.

Good on Pearce for saying what he said about the Corradi incident:

"Many managers would stand here and give you some bull**** story - i'm not prepared to do that. The ref got the right decision, i'll speak with him during the week and it wont happen again."

compare that to Ferguson's ridiculous emotional blackmail overdefensive and condescending comments about the incident last week at Boro... ridiculous and sickening.

oh, and I forgot to mention 2 things:

1) Ferdinand kicking Richards in the face while Micah's trying to nod the ball into the net... no penalty, spot on Graham Poll, you ******* douche bitch.

2) United's 3rd goal was offside. **** you Poll's linesman, you ******* douche bitch.

PS: **** you Dunne & Distin, you ******* douche bitches.

well seeing as how I'm gonna wake up, probably find out Milan lost 1-0 at home to Torino then realize I have to keep studying for exams for the rest of the day... I highly doubt that

Yeah, damn your weekend really does suck, counting that Milan should have won through penalty and almost lost it in the dying minutes.

It's not like Pearce could deny it could he? Corradi even got booked and sent off for it, there were no ifs or buts about it.
