Manager Mode - Top Tier Teams

In Manager Mode is there a cheat to be able to select a top team i.e. Man U or Chelsea from the start, or do you have to play through a couple seasons first? I started out with a MLS team for the first season and then I have a French Div 2 team for the 2nd season (it was about the best I was able to pick). At this rate I probobly won't be able to pick Chelsea until the 2012 season. I would like to be able to play these teams with a reasonable amount of current players?

Any thoughts? or am I going to have to earn a top team through playing through the seasons?

Yeah, you can pick any team at the start of your manager mode in 07.

Much better than in 06 when you had to wait around 3 seasons before a top teir team would take you ... but by then said team have already sold their best players and you are left with a bunch of randoms.

AAAH..... So I can start as a Top team, but if I start with a lower division team I then have to prove myself to be able to Manage a bigger team. I will have to give a top team a try with a new Manager profile. I am wondering how I will do as a first year or 1 or 2 level Manager.
