We apologize for keeping the yellow too long

^^^ That has nothing to do with Man United. S'rry bro, but you gotta be focused on your own club. Not others.

FYI: www.manutd.com does NOT say anything about this.

If United don't sign some serviceable squad players this summer they'll be one or two injuries away from this same position next year.

So we're saying that managers over the decades haven't been sacked when they failed to retain the title and lose out to their bitter rivals?

I'm pretty sure there are a few "George Steinbrenners" still on every board at every club.

Apparently Moyes will only get 1 years pay because he mathematically cannot finish in the top 4 now.

These reports look to be true, as United are obliged to clarify very soon the position of executives or risk playing too close to comfort with the insider trading laws. And in the past they were quick to deny any rumours, but not this time.

Plus the bookies suspended the betting. The bookies ALWAYS know!

It is probably happening.

No need to be too excited though. There are lots of other stuff that needs to be sorted out. Will Woodland and Round also be packing their bags? Do the Glazers have a clue about football managers? Who will decide on the next manager? If it's Fergie again, don't be surprised to see Martin Jol appointed for the job.

On a side note, some fun pictures:

Steve Round reading a book about "set plays" during the United v/s Everton game. (H) That is clear evidence that this pair has not got a clue about tactics. That is laughable.

Man City fans had this banner in their game earlier today:

How is Louis van Gaal, Reitz? He is winner, no doubt. But how good is he at building and motivating a team? That is what we need now.

I think we should wait until the summer to decide on the next manager. Who will be the manager for now though? Round? He should also fuck off. Giggs, Phil Neville? Fergie? Would be interesting to see.

He's gone crazy and his talent identification is way off lately

Yeah from what I have seen in him, he wins trophies with teams that are already good enough. Not really someone who is known for building up teams.

I don't know him from his Ajax years but that was 20 years ago and probably irrelevant now. At least he is someone who is qualified for the job. i.e. someone who can manage a trophy winning team.

Robben was the only notable player he brought in didn't he? Others were already there or came afterwards.
the emergence of Tommy Müller, moving David Alaba to LB, and getting a talented team to play to attacking potential are van Gaal's Bayern legacy ...

his Ajax years show why a top team would want someone like--err--I mean, yeah, completely irrelevant ... he's way past it; you don't want him ... get a Scottish guy instead, someone you won't have to fire for another 25 years ... I hear there's a fella like that who's gonna be leaving some upper midtable Premiership club soon ... maybe you lot can get him?
