Signing Kagawa seems like wate o me. Roonet plays as a second striker. Using Kagawa on the wings is just wrong.

In Dortmund.

Exactly. Kagawa is a fantastic player and I really like him but the truth is that he won't flourish in the EPL in a team that focuses on wing play. If he plays in his favorite position that is behind the striker, he has to make assists and score goals. He is not doing that at the moment. His passing is good but most of them are back passes and short passes. We need more defense splitting passes and long Scholes-esque balls that he doesn't provide.

Kagawa just doesn't suit our playing style. Rooney is ahead of him + our playing style doesn't seem to suit him.

Nady how would you feel about van Persie getting sold, playing Kagawa in the "hole" behind Rooney.

RVP is great and all, but this is just an opinion.

Shows a bit about kagawa of his lack of adaptability

Yeah, he can basically only play AMF. When he came, I thought he would be able to play on both wings and in central midfileld, behind Rooney. He can play on the left wing and has done so for club and country but he doesn't have the pace needed and dribbling is not his specialty. He does a decent job on the wing but depends a lot on Evra and back passes a lot. When he gets into good positions, his crosses can be lethal though. He definitely finds players much more often than our other wingers with his crosses.

First all, we can't sell RvP. Despite his age, he is still at the peak of his career and not showing any signs of decline so far but this can change soon. If he is sold (some sources say he is unhappy which I doubt is true), I still don't think Kagawa is the answer, no matter how much I like him. He has played in the hole several times and to be fair to him, he hasn't been given enough time to prove himself in that role. But from what I have seen, he often looks lost and is easily knocked off the ball and dispossessed. There is nothing wrong with him. It is just that the physicality if the EPL is not for him IMO.

But selling RVP would give a lot more playing time to Chicha and Welbeck :(. He had a great season with Arsenal and with us. He's an amazing player and i believe every team. T, would like to have a striker with such técnica. These kind of attackers are hard to come by nowadays.

But i'm still worried about his injury problems and so on. Fergie wanted to end his career on a high and signed RVP, who pretty much won us the title. RVP might be in his peak, but we should really look at our midfield. The last match against Stoke pretty much proved that Anderson (i've always thought highly of that guy) isn't Manutd material. Fletcher's comeback will take some time. Plus i've always hated the Fletcher and Carrick midfield. I think i've mentioned this before. This leads to no creativity at all.

Anyway just gotta keep a positive mindset and we'll do well.

Hull scored from a corner that was supposed to be a goal kick. Great start. We have a lot of time to come back in it fortunately.

Check in to see a Hull player bleeding, 10 minutes from time at 2-3 for ManU. Come on Tigers!

Apparently Hull conceded a silly ass own goal under little threat.
