When you are a goal up and you just defend for 45 minutes, this shit happens. I don't understand Moyes subs, Ando or Nani could be more effective than Giggs when we were under that much pressure ...

United defends so deep after they score one goal ... frustrating game ...

7 points gap again ...

Edit: next three matches are fucking important Spurs (A), Everton (H ), and Newcastle (H )
Good results can make a good gap between United and those teams

6 Manchester United 21
7 Everton 21
8 Newcastle United 20
9 Tottenham Hotspur 20

Btw, we won 5-0 against the 2nd best team so far in the Bundesliga with a winger and a defender as central midfielder. This tells a lot about our "natural" midfielders like Fellaini, Anderson and Cleverley who can neither tackle nor pass. I still have some hope on Fellaini because he is still adapting and Cleverley is still developing but still, they should be backup players at best.

Anybody see Kagawa in AM role today? How did he do?

I watched it, he played on the left moreso and Nani central but they swapped a bit. He was pretty impressive, linked with Giggs and Rooney well, had a few drives with the ball through the center that lead to chances or getting fouled

Maybe if we manage to get a more commanding left-back like Baines, he will have more freedom to drift inside and work some magic

he had more impact on the game as AM....no moyes will have trouble once rvp is back...star of the game was giggs...valencia had decent game as usual protected the right wing...anderson missed easy goal...nani as stiker or left forward was good..he was cutting inside taking on players...looked confident and sealed with a decent goal..but tht assist from giggs and that kagawa pass was wowowow..

I am fascinated with how United beat 5-0 the second team in the Bundesliga at their stadium with the "non-regular" midfield and the "regular", if there is such thing, is far from impressive.

The Bundesliga is competitive, but there's still a huge gap between the top and the middle and the top English teams are better. It will sort itself out in a few years.
