Lingard, Zaha and januzaj are not central midfielders and Anderson and Cleverly don't hold a candle to Fellaini. And getting Fabregas was impossible from the moment Thiago was sold to Bayern. So not going for Fellaini really makes no sense.

Without Sir Alex they are done for in Europe and maybe the Prem. Not looking good after the squads that Chelsea and City are assembling.
