Making a snow turf

Hi,

ive been looking for a snow turf but i havent found one that satisfies me. I want a turf that is completely white but nobody has it so im trying to make one myself. I have made it for fifa 07 but since things have changed since then it seems like its not as easy as before. I used CM10 to import totally white images for all the pitch conditions and weathers when using a particular pitch surround, this way i can assign this pitch surround only to those stadiums i want to have snow in. However in game the pitch is still not white. I guess it has to do with the mowing pattern so i changed that too to a white image but for some reason it doesnt seem to be retained because i used mowing number 12 and if i switch to any other and then back the image is gone and its like if i have deleted it. Whats the catch there? can somebody help me with this please?

yeah, thank you, i have that one but the problem with it is that all the stadiums get snow with all weathers and thats not exactly what i want.

No, i just want a stadium to have snow and all the rest are fine the way they are now. I thought that by changing the mowing pattern i could achieve this since each stadium uses a different one.

Man, I know in back in FIFA07, you are some kind of cool mods that produced some cool works but please respect other mods here in FIFA10. How come you said you've already look and haven't found? For me, this is kinda insult to regularcat. He produce cool works here in FIFA10, and I really think that his snow pitch is great.
His snow pitch is as white as what we can have. How come you say this isn't satisfying or in other words you dont like it because you want more and you want to make it yourself.
Maybe you want to ask help here, but please, dont use words that kinda downgraded the works. This is FIFA10 though, a lot more tougher to modified compared to FIFA07.
I've been watching you since you first made thread regarding some old 3d models of FIFA07 to be use in FIFA10. To be honest, I dont like the words you using to ask favor. You havent search yet you claims that there is no mods about what you want. If you want to ask for favor, please use words that shows respect to them. Again, this is FIFA10, not the old lame FIFA07. Things are different here.

Thats not true. First, i do respect other peoples work, and second i do like regularcats turf and i like and respect his work. If i post this is because i truly couldnt find a turf with the right amount of snow i need. Only Regularcats whose turf i have and i do like it. However it has the disadvantage you cant have only in one stadium but in all. But im not complaining about his work, im just looking for alternatives to have snow in only the stadiums you want. I do complain against EA for changing and spoiling so many things that were alright in previous versions like FIFA 07 and now in FIFA 10 they suck but thats none of the modders fault.

Also, if sometimes what i ask is a little unusual is because my standards and needs are different to most people here because of my goals since im not trying to achieve a realistic game, but rather a more "fictional" one and you just need to see the players i have made to get an idea so dont get me wrong. Finally, i do use search ALWAYS before starting a new topic and i only create it if i cant find something which doesnt mean i believe it doesnt exist but sometimes you cant find things here by using the search form, at least not as easy as some others.

Back to topic i found a way to achieve what i was looking for and i will be posting some pictures as soon as im finished. Thank all of you who contributed ideas, suggestions or simply showed interest in helping me out, specially regularcat.

Okay, so im done with my snow stadium and im posting some pictures so you can see the results and tell me what you think.











So this is it. as you can see the pitch is really white because its supposed to have a very thick layer of snow all over the field so thats why the lines are red. This stadium is the only one in the whole game with snow all the time with any weather. Its not 100% finished as i still want to refine some details but its mostly done.
