He's not had it easy this season, either. Ballack gone, Hargreaves injured and Deisler then retiring. I believe they're 4th now, which at Bayern's standards is poor but i think they could have backed him in the summer and especially this month.

Hopefully this leads to Hargreaves joining United before the deadline. Unfortunately that's just wishful thinking. :(

Coaches in Germany have very little to say concerning transfers. The decision not to sell him was made by the general manager and the board.

Bayern right now need a fit Hargreaves more than anything. He's our best fecking midfielder.
