I've always thought Lyon were the 'best of the rest'. One of the fastest teams out there, if they played Barca or Inter itd be a spectacle. There only weakness is they maybe lack a true class centre forward. Cris, Essien and Malouda will be at the top of the big clubs wishlists pretty soon and Wiltord is at the top of his game.

They did more than what you could have expected from a new team in the CL. Beating both Valencia and Anderlecht twice showed their class.

man iam french and i dont think lyon can win the CL
in the 2 games ,werder had good occasion in the the first leg but the miss too
in the second leg : after the first goal (8th minute) werder stop to play that all
lyon is a good team but not the future cl winner!

Well, in past seasons taking Valencia out wouldve been braggable, but theyve been sh*te this season (Inter beat them at home 5-1 by the way). I was just glad to see Stalteri playing in CL, and he was there best player in first leg.

i think this score happened because of Werden's skill (low) not Lyon's amazing skill, although they are pretty good

Bremen knew they had no chance...its why they played so bad. They were down 3-0 already, they knew it was a dead game. They may not have even trained properly for it.
