Hey guyz, i just finished my third year with a 2nd division English team (Brentford) and something really odd happened to my team.
Let me bring u back to my first year,

1st year- I started with 2.5 mil in my transfer budget and 1000 prestige points. I won the division and got promoted to divsion 1 and won the league cup.

2nd year- I got i think 6 mil for my transfer budget and 3000 prestige points. Here's the problem i noticed, i achieved all contract goals (2-800 pts and 2-200 pts) so that is 2000 more prestige points added to my 1000....BUT....i won the league and the league cup and it said i was awarded 400 pts for each but they were never added.......WTF? In divison 1, i won the league once again and the league cup once again and i got promoted to the Premiership.

3rd year- I got 14 mil in my transfer budget and i think 4800 prestige points ( I achieved two of the 800 point goals and only one of the 200 point goals)......but once again my awards for winning the league cup and being promoted weren't added..where the hell did they go??!!! :f***:

So yesterday i finished my third year: I won the league cup and the EFA cup and achieved all goals which is 2000 more points added to my prestige budget. You know when u finish once year and ur knew goals appear? Well in that screen it said i have a 8800 prestige points, but when i actually get into the 8 weeks of the off season, my prestige budget was ONLY 6000 pts, I GOT RIPPED OFF!!! :f***: I didn't even spend it on anything yet!

So after all the screaming and frustration, i start my shopping for new players, and then the biggest disappointment of all was.....I ONLY HAD 9 MILLION IN TRANSFER BUDGET!!!!! :f***: :kader: Last season i had FUC*IN 14 MIL!!!! WTF?!!!!!! :f***: :f***: I got totally ripped off, after bringing a team from division two to the fuc*in premiership.....this is what i get?!
So i thought something went wrong, so i loaded the last game of last season and after the game, the same things happened.

Did this happen to anyone else? What do u guyz think about it and what went wrong here?

Ive had the problems with prestige points not being added up it seems theres a limit to how much you can get, its ******* stupid.

umm, my 3rd diov. northamton town goalie was kidnapped in career mode, and i cant pput my sub in his place. my goalie is a defender now!

When you start the career you start a 5 years "quest" where you have to gain 1000 points per season.

You start with 1000, thus 1000 + (1000 x 5) = 6000.

If you have 6000 points at the end of the 5th season, you have accomplished your "mission".

I think that the cap at 6000 is not a bug but a design choice.

i understand what ur saying but i have 6000 points now in my 4th year, not the fifth. And why the hell do they tell u that u were awarded extra for things such as winning leagues and cups and not add it?!

and what about the transfer budget (most important to me)? How can my transfer budget go down by 5 million the next season, its not like i was last place in everything, I won two cups. Is this another one of EA's stupid bugs or what?

p.s- Do good career teams such as Real Madrid, Milan, or Man U have these problems or is it just happening to the lower divisions?

You can still lose points in your last season and fail the "quest", though.

hey Sohdaiku, tell me, r u doin a career with lower division teams? if so, do u have the same prob? and whats ur transfer budget like, is it increasing every year?
