When holding the "C" button (also the button to shield the ball and call in an extra defender) while shooting makes your shot low...

The rest is high :)

It should be in the manual for the Xbox it is Left+Shot Button

So it should be L1 or L2 + the shot button.

I noticed that you lose considerable power when doing a low shot. I alwise imagined it as being an instep drive shot with the ball low to the ground, yet powerful.

low shots are usually for finishin mate, it requires great technique in real life for keepin the shot low and powerful, so mayb u tried the shot on the wrong guy.i tried it on camoranesi and it looks like hhe scuffed his shot

how many hard low shots do you see from far away in real life?

answer: not many

why?: because is damn hard to keep the ball low on the ground when putting a lot of power on your shot..

yea man dun u noe ball loses its speed on da ground due to friction. if u like low supersonic shots try pes3.
the only player i noe of a great low shot is rivaldo, and he doesnt get a terrific amount of pace on them, he goes for placement and da keeper cant save it.

btw i scored a powerful low shot on the demo b4. a defender headed the ball off a nedved corner and tacchinardi folowed it up wif a screamer, i accidentally pressed c while shootin and the low shot got wiked power dida got a slight touch but not enuf to push it around the post. very realistic
