My favorite goal of all time.I was wondering around the net the other day looking at some old goals of Galatasaray and then i saw this one from Cevat Prekazi. This goal is from Monaco vs Galatasaray in March 15 1989 on the Champion Clubs Cup. You have to see it to believe it form 60 meters out going 111 mph and only couple of feet off the ground. AMAZING!!!
Note: This Prekazi fella only used the big heavy strength balls to practice shooting in training so you go figure.

i duno my father tells me about this guy and he was using them he was a maniac. he used a weird way to shoot. he used his foot like a wrecking ball or something.

It's an exceptional goal. Not because of the distance it was scored from. We've all seen goals scored from farther out. But what's exceptional is the speed with which the shot is fired. This isn't some bending, dipping long shot that could fool a goalkeeper. It's a line drive. It ends up in the back of the net solely because of its velocity and the power it was hit with. There wasn't anything the goalkeeper could do. And it's rarely that we see a goal from that range that the keeper can not be at least partially blamed for.
