My personal favourite. (H)

Though those sorts of questions often seem to be "Prove ... = ..." and with enough scribbled gibberish algebra you can occasionally steal some marks you don't deserve (H)

Once I had a biochem exam Monday morning, and I hate biochem, so I just wrote that I refused to study during the weekend and that the only thing I knew was that the slides the professor showed us were in English, which was the reason I wrote all that in English.

My only 0 (out of 10) during my time at uni...

The best thing about it is that I actually know what that equation's all about, and it's actually the smallest and easiest part of a MUCH more complicated method, so the rest of the question is gonna make that guy actually kill himself.

It is a total fake because you couldnt possibly solve that equation with no values to put in, and NEVER would mathematics be sensible enough to mark an unknown quantity with a question mark.

It's still genius though.

That isn't an equation, it's a statement. Had they said = x or something... which would ruin the joke, nevermind.

It is an equation, the ? is where normally another symbol would be, but is not because its a fake. Were it the alternative, an expression, there would be no = sign.
