Logitech Wingman Cordless gamepad

I just bought a Logitech Wingman Cordless to play Fifa 2003 with on my PC. However, for some reason this game doesn't use the D-Pad on the gamepad. Instead, it uses one of the two mini joysticks which are fiddly and out of proper reach. Is there anyway, through FIFA2003 or Logitech's game customizing thing, to change this to the D-Pad?

Hehe - just found that.

What does that actually do? Does it just switch the main input between the analog stick and the digital pad? Does this mean that no games can use both at once (not that I have the fingers to use both at once but the option's nice)?

It's one or the other mate. And personally, I don't think it matters as you would have to be Three Limbs to use all three Directional Sticks/Pads :D

Actually I've got 4 limbs but what the hell... :)

According to the manual (!) one mode, the default (the mode light green), is for sims where the stick is movement and the pad is point of view and the other is for sports games (mode light orange), which has the pad for movement, as I want, and the stick for point of view, which does nothing.
