Logitech WingMan Cordless Gamepad not working properly!

I have a problem with this gamepad mentioned above, the C buttom (shooting) does not work,as well as the menu selections scrollin by itself... and it seems to be a problem that alot of ppl are experiencing...
if anyone knows how to fix it plz help me
