Loading/Saving CM4

when i want to load my game and even save it it takes 10 minutes to load and 30 to save! What effects this? Is it because i have 4 years worth of data that it is trying to process to save/load? I have a pIII 667 that has 512MB ram and 120GB + 13GB HDD is it hardware or the game?

wow, I only have 256 mb, and when I played Strasbourg, on large database, with 5 leagues selected in 2011, it 'only' took me 5 minutes to save. Now I play on medium db, and saving takes less than 30 seconds

I think something is wrong with your game, or you have selected to many leagues

It's most likely the game settings indeed. If it isn't, you might try defragmentation of your drives.

well first off, you would probably be better off playing the game with a slightly better pc

im guessing u r exaggerating a bit.... .... but if its seriously that long to load, unless you've chosen 50 leagues or something, its most probably an issue with your computer and not the game... probably suggest you defrag your hard drive, or something.... and maybe eliminate a few background processes you don't need (Start > Run > type 'msconfig' > Startup) too i guess

That doesnt allow em to run when the computer starts. Best thing to do is kill em wheile running, just b4 u enter the game
