As I said in the match thread. Kuyt looks to be exactly what we need. Heres hoping his performance's stay in the same sort of vein.

Tonight Kuyt received the Golden Shoe award for being the best Dutch player in the league for the year 2005/2006.
Kuyt is a worker and he will continue to give his all for Liverpool, he said it was a pity he didn't score yet but he is counting on it that this will be soon.
"this was the first step, the second step will follow soon enough".
Let's see how he will perform against Luxemburg and Belarus for us next week ;)

It looks like Mellor is off to Preston with the likes of Kromkamp (back to Holland) and Cinema Popcorn offski too. Guess we'll be seeing some new cover *ahem* at rightback then eh.

Good luck to Mellor. Will remember him for that cracker of a goal against Arsenal in the last minutes at Anfield.

sad to see Mellor go, but then, it's clear there's no place for him on the side, so good luck for him. The same goes to Pongolle...

Kromkamp... well... if he couldn't adapt and wants to go back home, there's not much we can do about it. With Neill about to come, I believe we're good in depth. Our first 11 is good enough to challenge, and the back-ups aren't bad either. Looking good for the season... I'm optimistic.

Pongolle and Diao (finally) are due a move to Spain while surprisingly, Kewell remains a possibility where outgoing transfers are concerned, as the club are anticipating a last minute swoop from Spurs. I'd rather he stay, Harry, because I still rate him over Speedy at least while the latter beds in.

Why does Benitez want to buy every single full-back to Anfield?

We dont go out and buy players for fun, we need them. You guys already have 30 first team players. :nape:
