yeh i agree, i mean i find it funny, cos i detest Wednesday. But its like playing Man Utd and saying that "Manchester didnt play well today" when City were PROBABLY playing down the road.

Indeed, Liam says Sheffield played well on Saturday, they did actually, they won away to Plymouth.

Momo, Riise and Carra out for minimum 3 weeks. Ste should be out for a lot less. Not a flying start by any means but I'd rather lose Sami than Carra. Kuyt should make his debut in the next league game. Great play by Pennant and Crouch, and Agger has been brilliant.

Anyway, what's really distressing other than our disjointed play and injury problems is the fact that Ozzie media are reporting that Lucas Neill is set to join us, with Kromkamp headed back to Holland.

Well the Champions League group stages are set. We've drawn

Bordeaux
Galatasaray

not a tough group so we must win it early. The trips to Eindhoven and Turkey will be a bit tricky, but I think we can suffocate them!

Gala is the one that worries me the most. Not on footballing terms, but atmosphere and all that in Turkey. PSV is a good side, and should qualify, along with us.

Well, despite Galatasaray our group doesnt look so complicated. We just have to make sure we win all three home matches. A win at Bordeaux is achievable aswell.
