I think his record this season speaks for itself, hardly starting and hes scored 20 goals. I'd be pissed off if that was the case. If he leaves, I hope he has a good time at Lyon.

I just hope we don't sign Bellamy, then you really will see a shítty attitude. Darren Bent though, the proposition of him signing makes me a very happy chappy.

79 games and 24 goals. yeah his record certainly does speak for itself. how many premiership goals did he actually score? come on - if you actually watched any games this season its clear to see he's not good enough. although neither is fowler or crouch. thats why our top goalscorer was a midfielder! need a striker who can actually put the ball in the net if we want to actually challenge for anything next season :monkey:

On a more serious note, Czech Republic midfielder and ex-Red Vladimir Smicer, who scored in the Champions League final comeback, has been ruled out of the World Cup because of a leg injury. Doctors found a blood clot in his thigh muscle after he felt discomfort at his team's pre-World Cup camp last week.

Last I checked, the official site said he was considering his options and was due to fly to England later in the week when he would most likely make a decision. He better have been assured of a starting spot at Reebok!

I can't believe the Cisse injury. I saw a picture of it.... wow, thats pretty bad. I wouldn't blame him if he retired now. I hope he gets a speedy recovery.
