If liverpool dont concede at Old Trafford then they will win the mach because Torres and Gerrard will definitely get a goal. Their partnership is sublime. As for the matches with Arsenal, I have full confidence in the champions league ties because Liverpool and Benitez have done over and over again, against the odds and have proven everyone wrong. Arsenal will be worried about the premiership so they will play their strongest side in the league. you are fogetting that Arsenal have to goto United and West london and probably lose both those matches

We didn't really ever look like we would trouble van der sar.
Mascherano lost his head - yes we can blame the ref to a certain extent but mascherano shouldn't have been any where near him.
After that I would have settled for 1-0 but then we have to let nani and Ronaldo score - the two most annoying players on the pitch.

People know that Zakov, but they prefered it when only Man U and Liverpool had money to spend like water. We spoilt the party and its hard for them to face it. It's a shame Rafa couldn't have done better with the millions he has spent. Its not how much you spend but what you get for the money, and of course you need a coach who is capable of building a great squad from scratch. If it was simply about chucking money at a team, then Real Madrid would win La Liga and the CL every season. It just doesn't happen like that in reality, and everyone knows it really.
Personally, winning the CL would mean just as much as any trophy we have won in the past. The fact that it will come A.R. (After Roman), does not make a blind bit of difference to me. Why should it? I'm a Chelsea fan.

Anybody think Benitez will be sacked?
He clearly hasn't yet got a clue what he's doing in big Premiership matches, based on his awful record against the big 3 in league games. Not to mention constantly drawing against mid-table sides that Man United put 4 past on a regular basis.
In fairness to him, he would need quite a lot of money to buy some player as good as Ronaldo, but surely Liverpool should be getting closer than they are doing by now?

At the end of the day, I hate Man Utd and Liverpool more than Chelsea but I want them to win trophies over Chelsea because, like I said at first, their money is from genuine footballing status.
