How do you guys sell players for such a high price? Is there any trick? I sold Heskey for 14 mil and i thought i made a good deal...:rolleyes: Well, to my game then. Made 2 friendlies, against Chievo away and Atletico Madrid home, won 4-1 and 2-1, got a player sent off in both, at least it was good to see the team played well even with 10 players. I'm still considering selling Owen, Roma was interested but they're not the richest guys on the block so i couldnt ask for a lot of money and i gave up. I also signed Renato (Santos, so class!) on a free, he'll be arriving on January, and i lost on Elano, he decided to renew his contract instead of coming for Liverpool, also on a free. I offered him 90.000 per month plus a 875.000 signing on fee but he still decided to stay at Santos, very loyal player at least. Because there's no way in hell that Santos made a better offer to him...:rolleyes: Also, there is a slight possibility of Robinho coming in on January, i'm trying to sign him on a free atm, depending on the WP. Although he only has 1 cap, i still have some hope, since that Figueroa guy playing for Birmingham didnt have a single cap and still got a work permit, god knows why...

14m for Heskey is good btw.

Basically, the big biids dont really start coming in until after a few seasons in my opinion. Kewell and Diouf were playing fantastic for me, after your players play like that for a while, clubs get intrested, then every so often they'll bid massive prices. It really is a waiting game, if you wanna quick sell then you wont get a high price.

ONe tip of advice, if you wanna get rid of a player, offer him to a clubj ust a few days before the end of the trasnfer window.

That's what i usually do, but i would like to get higher bids from other clubs. Well, to say the truth, 14 mil for Heskey is outrageous...:D Although the players that get higher ratings for me, are the ones i dont want to sell...:crazyboy:

well exactly. Over the last 6 months in my game ive had 30m bid for Kewell, 25m for Diouf, 24m for Bonera and of course a 39m one for Owen

I could've signed Bonera on a free, but when i realised he already accepted a contract... Then i looked on the player/staff search screen and i noticed about 30 players were available on a free, the likes of Bonera, Kapo, and i didnt even notice that.:crazyboy: Well, Valencia made a bid of 27 mil plus Canizares on the start of the 1st season, i rejected it. Now why i did that, is beyond me, i could have a great goalkeeper much better than Dudek, and 27 to spend as i liked. Well, nothing is perfect anyway.:rolleyes:

Nah that would have been a crap deal mate, ive been Valencia and liverpool enough times, Canizares is complete and utter ****e. Dudek is actually pretty decent.

you should be looking for 35m+ with owen

The problem is that Owen's value is only 23 million now, at the start of the 1st season it was over 30 million. I could sell Canizares right away for a profit too, but well, i like Dudek, but sometimes he makes some foolish mistakes and things like that. Well, if you say Canizares sucks, i'll take your word for it, i've never played with him anyway.

Canizares sucks, why would they exchange him otherwise ;)

Owen for me was worth 25m when 39m bid came in.. so dont worry

Yep, i never sell my striker to a EPL team. It usually comes back to haunt me, so that's the number one rule of selling i guess. I sold Baros to Juventus. Also, for a bit of fun, guess who bought Heskey for 14 mil? Madrid! And they finished the league in 9th on the first season... I guess they're unlikely to improve this season too.:crazyboy:

Baros is a good player but i couldnt miss the chance to sell him. He was valued at 8.7 mil and i sold him for an initial 11.5, potential 16.5, a good move i guess. You must be pretty lucky with him them, he always complained about not being picked for first team football. He said once that i couldnt see a good player when i saw one, i was laughing like mad at it. I had to sell the lad.:)
