I think the stress was a combination of being SO CLOSE to the end of the team creation process, which means I can then take a break and start playing some. Then my wife got really sick and I couldn't get much work done for a couple of days cause she needed my attention (she's alright now btw).

I was really geared up and ready for some massive team creation, then I was forced into a 2 day LULL.

Anyway I added a total of about 8 NF board teams to the ninth pack. If we're gonna release 'em let's just do it.

Réunion, Tuvalu, Zanzibar, Mayotte, Kiribati, Micronesia, Northern Mariana Islands (AFC), Saint-Martin.

She got better... then picked up a cold. A cold is not nearly as bad as what she was dealing with 3 days ago but she's absolutely miserable anyway. The timing of it is still kind of funny though.

davidmende, Makispla made what we called "Confederational Leagues" If you plan to use your teams in Friendly mode, it may be worth it to download those leagues to break down the teams into thier 6 Confederations. Right now that's what I'm using.

As a heads up to everyone we have over 208 COUNTRIES. I think to get all teams you will absolutely HAVE to expand your database. I don't know if there is a downside to this but it will let you expand to 256 countries.

As a little update... in terms of making the "shells" as I call em, I have 4 teams left to do. I have had very little time at my desktop which is where I do the graphics work and have all that info saved which is the reason for so few teams being released, but I am getting a ton of work done on my laptop while watching and recording the gold cup games, hopefully just adding graphics and names shouldn't take but a few minutes a team.

For the first time I wasn't able to find 23 players for a squad. I had prided myself on being able to scrounge up one or two more players off the net (and probably could have if FIFAworldcup.com was still fully in tact) but Sao Tome e Principe is going to have to be released with 1 "fantasy" player. I marked this player with an astrisk after his first name. I just used a keepers first name matched with one other player's last name. He is the worst player on the team as well. Hopefully this is the only instance of this particular problem. Hopefully they play a game soon as I can correct the mistake.

Great work as usual, Liio!

I just imported the Dominica nat'l team and had a couple q's:

1) After I added this team into the CONCACAF league, whenever you try to access it from the league menu, it gives you Dominican Republic. Any idea why this is? The countries are both imported and have different IDs. Its no big deal i guess, because if you try to access Dominica from the teams menu, there's no problem.

2) You added Charlton MF Jerome Thomas to this team. He played on the England U-21 team, so the Jerome Thomas on Dominica must be a different guy. Just a friendly observation :)

My memory is sketchy but I remember there was a brother-brother combo I think it was Dominica, where both of the brothers played for englands U21. The older one had appeared for dominica senior side which a player can do. I've seen it a couple of times elsewhere, a player will appear for a youth side in one nation but become a full international in another simply because they had no real hope of playing for England Nats. I'll look into it and make sure there isn't some mistake.

When you say "access Dominica from the teams menu" do you mean when trying to add them to the league?

When you try to add them to their leagues and are looking for them in the scroll down menu because the names are so similar in spelling you may need to hit down twice. Normally Dominica would show up first but they were made second so it's possible the ID is overriding that rule of alphabetizing. Not sure if this is what you mean or not.

I released the gold cup and copa america as seperate patches but you can always download them as updates to the origional teams. They had all been previously created.

S&#227;o Tom&#233; e Principe - Kits by August

I knew there was a way to type special letter and letters with accents so I found a list of how to do it and some of the common letters. I'm tryin to learn em one by one. It's kinda cool considering the number of times I've had to type S&#227;o Tom&#233; e Principe.

Anyway if you are curious, open a word document or something to that effect.

Turn on Number Lock. HOLD ALT - type 0227 - release alt and you get "&#227;"

Hold alt - type 130 - release alt and you get "&#233;"

I'm sure at least a few of ya knew this already but still kinda cool and maybe someone will think so too.

Thanks for the info. It's really not a big deal, but what I meant was after i've created the team in the Concacaf league, and after I double-click on Dominica's team icon in the concacaf league menu, I get Dominican Republic instead of Dominica. Anyway, like I said its no biggie because I've tested Dominica in-game and they work fine.

And btw thanks for finally creating Liechtenstein (one of my favorite small teams - Mario Frick :rockman:)

I am almost sure my counts are off. I looked quickly but FIFA has 208 affiliated teams. When I look at my list I have a total of 10 NONfifa teams.

Guadeloupe, Martinique, Tuvalu, Kiribati, Micronesia, Reunion, Zanzibar, Northern Mariana Islands, Mayotte, Saint-Martin.

Now I have 209 teams FINISHED as I type this... But I have 7 teams left.

Now if I have 209 teams done. and 7 left that = 216... but if there are 208 FIFA affiliated teams and I added 10... that would be 218. So... to illustrate how my mind is working this out i'm going to type this sentance without the use of the space bar.

IeitherforgottomakeateamortwoORImighthaveforgottentocountacoupleofteams,whichwouldbewayeasiercausethenIknowIdidn'tforgetanyoneandwouldn'thavetomakeanynewteams.

Pretty sure I didn't forget anyone though, just trying to make sure.

I believe we are now the largest collection of International teams that has ever been created publically for a football video game ever. Yeah we're bigger than RTWC '98. And we're not even done yet =-P.

Prove me wrong if you know of a larger collection... In the meantime we'll just get bigger and more in depth. Eventually I wanna know how many hairs Igor Akinfeev has on his left arm. We'll try to incorporate that in. =-P.

I need to start an error sheet and haven't yet so I need to post this before I forget. Peter Paul Igesumal should be Micronesia's best striker... not their sweeper. http://rsssf.com/tablesm/micronesiacup99.html top scorer.

Northern Mariana Islands competed in a micronesia games tournament where they scored something like 40 goals and not a single goal scorer was recorded. Because of that I have to release the team with 5 "invented" players... as normal, their first names are marked with an Astrisk and they are the worst players on the team. Two are backup keepers. Hopefully they play in a tournament and we can update our info.

I went to actually roster Mayotte and found only 5 players and very little info in tourny's. I decided there would be very little interest in a team with 18 invented players so they will be left out. Kinda sucks, they have the coolest FA logo in the world =-).

But that means that...

... is the last team of the National Team Packs. I posted the First national teams on February
21st and had probably been working on it for about 2 weeks prior. Roughly 4 Months later thanks to enormous support and help from many on the forum, we're done. I'm absolutely blown away how quickly all of it finished and that we have probably 4 months more until the '08 release and probably 2 on top of that before CM08 can be made. We have a lot of time to enjoy the patch, to work on the rosters, to research and make kits... There is a ton of expanding we can do and I am sure when all is said and done this will be one of the largest, most in depth, most respected patches ever created. That expectation is based on the amazing quality of supporters we have on the forum and following this thread rather than some attempt at personal inflation.

I Cannot thank you guys enough for your hard work but I do want to tell at least:

Thanks for the kind words, Liio.

You really deserve an enormous amount of credit for this project. Having so far download maybe just 1/4 of the teams you have created, its clear that you must have spent hundreds of hours on these patches, given the sheer volume of teams and the detail in the rosters, formation variation, logos, etc. It's made things much easier for international football nuts like me to add national teams, which I had planned to do anyway. And it certainly also helps when Walrus, August, and Makispla have devoted so much time to provide quality kits and graphics. So thank you all.

And by the way, for some people (like myself) the value of these patches will be more than just 4 months. I personally don't intend to buy FIFA 08, I will probably wait until 09 before buying again. Its pretty easy to just manually tweak a few rosters later on or use kit converters to enhance and extend the life of 07 between now and then. So this will certainly last longer than a year for myself.

Again, congrats to Liio on a job very well done!
