I ignored the league/team/player attributes tables that I've been sticking to for one player. Wayne Dyer of Montserrat... he plays for an 8th tier team in England but has had experience in the UEFA Cup and and other top competitions. He played in League 2 for some time and it looks like he took this position due to his age and not a decline in ability. Something a little more relaxed. He is really the captain and best player (argument) on the Montserrat squad so I couldn't give him the ranking that the tables suggested which would be between -6 and -26 or... well .... a 1.

Anyway he's in the high 40's.

I agree Guadeloupe, Martinique, St. Martin, and French Guiana are all very important since they all participate in the caribbean cup (sint maarten too when they feel like it). But the affiliated nations are much more important, and Guadeloupe will loose several players if they do affiliate with FIFA.

There is certainly room for improvement August. I'm only one guy and can only spend so much time on each team... I hope you can be very very critical for me and try to spot any mistakes that I've overlooked. There is no better way to find errors than to have the users spot 'em for ya.

Especially with the german side please help me be as maticulous as possible so when we rerelease them, they are absolutely perfect.

Great work on these Liio. I finally got FIFA 07 set up and am currently importing many of the teams you've patched. I especially like the effort you've put in on the rosters and the frontend logos, and every single one of the teams i've added so far has very clean look on menus. Couple questions:

Q #1: Is there a particular way you are backing up your files? So far i've just been making a copy of my EA Sports\FIFA 07 folder to another directory as I progress, but wanted to check if there's any else I can do. I just don't want to go through the process of importing so many teams (some of which I do tweak), and then have it crash after like 100+ teams have been imported.

Q#2: When you create/add new players, do you use the randomize feature under the Appearance/Identity Card box? Reason I ask is because I added some players on Fiji since there were only the starters and 5 subs and when I used 'randomize' some of the players end up with heights > 190, weight > 90, or sizes > normal, which makes them look fat or just plain odd in the game. Although not randomizing makes all the players look the same (other than face), none of them seem to look out of place on the pitch. When I added one of the teams (Samoa, I think) it appeared the standard height and weight was used on each player, but I think there might have been at least one other OFC team (New Caledonia?) where players sizes varied greatly in the game. Just an observation.

But again, great work on these!

What you are seeing is the difference between a novice team maker and a team maker who's made over 100 teams.

I am getting better as I go.

For a while I was making teams where all players looked the same.

Then I started using the randomize feature and wasn't noticing that BIG or VERY BIG meant they looked like they had eaten a large Marsupial.

Once I realized this I was able to watch for it as I went through and now VERY few players have the body type above NORMAL.

As well there are many problems with teams that have only 16 players. I started out making them with 23 players. Thought it took too long and cut it down to 16, realized the issues there and began going back to 23.

My logos have gotten better as I went further down the line as well as the attributes are more realistic.

It is all about experience and after making 100+ teams I feel I have a lot of it now. Which is why I want to go back to page 1 and fix my mistakes, tweek the rosters and rerelease the teams much more finished and polished.

The American Roster for example right now is incredibly inaccurate. Benny Fielhaber is starting at CAM when he belongs in a defensive center mid role and really on the bench or possibly not on the team. Mastroeni is still better, and Fielhaber will have to compete with Clark and Bradley for that 2nd CDM spot. Landon is our attacking mid and our strikers really need to be Ching and Johnson even though that pairing will never score a goal. We just don't have strikers.

Anyway. I need you guys to be very crucial because even when redoing the teams I will miss things.

Let me know if anything catches your eye:

I forgot to use the FIFA Trigramme team name so in game the score window reads Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. when it should say SVG.

I need to add 7 players to the Bahrain national team.

I forgot the best player on the Armenian National Team.

I mispelled blahblah's name.

I screwed up the attributes for this player.

Blahblah looks fat.

Blahblah was born in 1942

My logos are cut off for the Costa Rica National Team (they are right now).

You have three right mids on the bench for the German National Team. (also an actual problem).

Anyway, anything you see that catches your eye and reminds you of me, needs to be fixed. I want to create an environment so that within the constraints of the game I can take you to the south pacific, caribbean, south east asia, the middle east, Iceland, Africa, or my backyard.

By the way, if you have Windows XP you can create a backup file using the backup utility. Hit START, ALL PROGRAMS, ACCESSORIES, SYSTEM TOOLS, BACKUP.

That's how I backup my files. I don't know what way is faster but when I tell it "Let me choose what to backup" and I select the entire FIFA 07 folder. it takes between 10 and 13 minutes to change between backups.

I often use the file sharing on my comps to dump a backup file to my wifes comp just in case, or to my laptop if I want to play on there while I'm out of town.

2007 Copa America All teams recieved editing to graphics, minikits, banners, or rosters. there were massive updates to the attributes of Uruguay, Paraguay, Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico, and the USA so they are now all consistent with the new attribute system.

Colombia now has 23 players. You will find the teams like Paraguay Uruguay Ecuador Colombia and Mexico you will find are all a bit stronger than they were before... The Americans are a little stronger as well but we still have no strikers so the team is full of 80's, playing the the Bundeslia and Premier league or the few very strong players from the MLS Donovan, Mastro, Conrad. Then the strikers are all 69s, the lowest rating available for an MLS player.

A few Ecuadorians are above their normal limit. I feel they proved themselves at the world cup and not for the first time. Their attributes are quite high.

By my count we have roughly 40 teams left now. I am adding Reunion and Mayotte since they will be playing in the Indian Ocean Games this year.

I'm Adding Tuvalu since they will be playing in the South Pacific Games which is the first stage of qualifying for the OFC this time around.

Obviously we had already stated we'd be making Guadeloupe (Gold Cup) and Martinique (already completed Caribbean Cup). I'll probably be adding
Saint-Martin since they also participated in the 2006 Caribbean Cup Qualifying.

Montenegro was added already because of the Kirin Cup and the fact that they will soon be a full member of FIFA ready to participate in WC Qualification. If I remake Euro 2008 with qualifying I will toss Montenegro into one of the groups.

Obviously East Timor will now be added as they are fully affiliated.

I think as for the rest of the NF board teams what I'm going to do is keep a watch out for smaller international tournaments and VIVA World Cup, or ELF cup competitions. If they sign up for a tournament I will make that tournament and pin them to a confederation rather than making an entire NF board confederation.

I will be researching the Island Games to see who is participating in the football competition for 2007 and will obviously make that tournament as well.

Right now the plan is to finish these 40-50 teams and get the Gold Cup released before it kicks off. After that I have some time before any major competition kicks off that I know of. I will work on the African Nations Cup, Asian Nations Cup (or whatever they call it now), OFC Nations Cup with it's preliminary the South Pacific Games. Competitions Like the King's Cup and Queen's Cup and try to work on getting full Confederations Cup and World Cup tounaments released with qualification.

My biggest goal after I get these teams made though is to try to get them working in manager mode. So that we can play one teams full cycle of matches from August '07 to July 2010. I can easily fit them all in with the various tournaments and I think it would be awesome to play as Vanuatu and participate in two or three tournies a year with a few friendlies then start the next season.

I really need to research why my manager mode seasons are crashing with national teams and I have a few ideas but first thing is to finish these teams... Anyway guys, back to werk.

Alright Guys I am getting incredibly frustrated trying to get the national teams to work in career mode. I have finally figured out one of my biggest problems and can play the first season but It still crashes after the first season. THIS IS NOT the youth players issue, it's got to be something else.

I'm hoping you guys wouldn't mind helping me troubleshoot this... I'm thinking I'm at the point where I am so invested I can't think clearly about what I might be missing.

I really want to get them working in career mode so we can get a full cycle working with multiple tournaments and everything. give your team a chance to build in strength and work their way up to the top of the CONFEDERATION.

If anyone can kinda help me think this through I'de really appreciate it. I'de like to think that besides kits I don't ask for too much from ya.

My own FIFA installation is exactly the same as it was the day I installed it, and I intend to leave it that way so I can't offer any practical assistance, but have you considered using my EAFFAnalyser utility to check the manager mode data file?? It will report on various anomalies, and may well spot problems with your tournament details. Alternatively, if you ZIP up your FIFA.DB, ENG.DB and manager mode data file and send them to me (via the link that pops up when you click on my name in the left hand panel) then I'll run them through my code in full debug mode and see if I can spot anything anomalous.
