LFP | Week 11 | El Clásico | Real Madrid CF vs FC Barcelona

I remember Rivaldo from the Barcelona matches against Manchester United in 1998/99 (?) where he was awesome. He scored on a bicycle kick if I'm not completely wrong.

I disagree...
Pele could do everything with every part of his body (except back passes ;) )

but I think Ronaldo at Barca was more dominating than Dinho- but Dinho has more jinga and samba in him. R9 was just freakin dominant, rampant and reckless. Dinho has more magic and dance when he dribbles.

Spot on. and imo Ronaldo was a better player than ronaldinho Gaucho is now

IMO its this:

Pele>Ronaldo>Rivaldo>Ronaldinho

Maybe ronaldinho has time to change this or maybe kaka

That is remembered as one of the best clashes Barça ever had in CL, if not the best. I would love to have the two games at Old Trafford and Camp Nou.

i took a break from SG since friday, and a good thing i did, i'd just spend hours reading comments, and writing my own pissed off ones. now that im calm, i can say congrats Barca. i just felt like there was no fight left in Real's players in the match. i need to stop worrying about football so much, my heart is f*cking pumping all match long, it aint good for me.
Raul is going to be out till next year. meaning, we wont see the first eleven playing until half a season is over. well, atleast noone got red-carded in the match.

Yup, that match was epic. It ended 3:3 and Rivaldo scored all the goals if I'm not mistaking. As for the bicycler, every one of those is something special but imo the one against Valencia I was talking about is way way better. The best overhead bicycle goal ever imo.

Btw, I have a question for people more knowledgeable of la liga and Real particualry as I haven't been watching Real in action that much for las couple of years.
Since when did Raul turned attacking middlefielder instead of playing as a striker. In Real's haydays in late 90s the one reason Real did so good was because of Raul's deadly finishing playing at the peak of attack. Now he's like a man behind the forwards and frankly speaking, I don't feel he's any good at this position. Wouldn't it be better for Real if he would shoot on goal more often?

This match is bull****, I was expecting a classic, but what I saw is a one man raping the whole Real Madrid team . . .

Ronaldinho, what a ******* footballing God :|:|:|

Madrid's defense are a bunch of pussies. Jesus, none of them got the heart and guts of the old Fernando Hierro.

I expect a better match at the Nou Camp.

Madrid must improve a LOT if they wanna have a chance then.
and even if they do, if Barcelona keeps this form...new thrashing :jambo:

I too hope for a closer match for the sake of football.
